Brian Laundrie’s neighbours are reportedly ‘charging the media £3500 a week to rent out their lawns’.

According to TMZ, the locals have decided to cash in on the fact the press is in the area to investigate the homicide of Gabby Petito. They reportedly provide them with water, chairs, internet, and allow them to have access to their bathrooms.

However, it’s believed that police officials are keen to reduce the number of journalists onsite.

Most recently, the media and protesters took over the property of Laundrie’s sister, Cassie, as they’re determined to find out more about one of the FBI’s ‘Most Wanted’ men.

Reportedly, Cassie Laundrie told them that the loss of Gabby Petito has created a divide in the family and her parents are ‘not talking’ to her.

Addressing those camped out on her lawn, she said: “I’m losing my parents and my brother, my children’s aunt and future sister-in-law on top of this.

“[My parents] are not talking to us either.”

She added: “We are just as upset frustrated, and heartbroken as everyone else.”

As the case has become so high-profile, even reality star Dog the Bounty Hunter has joined the mass search.

During his investigation, the 68-year-old has claimed he’s accumulated ‘DNA evidence’ of Laundrie’s location and he’s handed it over to the official authorities.

In an interview with Fox News, he said: “Friday, we found a makeshift, a very primitive camp that had some promising things around it so we’ve gathered up all those things with gloves and baggies and turned them over yesterday to the FBI.

“We’ve got tips from here to Tennessee and beyond.

“So we are going over those tips today.”
