Brian Laundrie’s sister has claimed she ‘doesn’t know’ if her parents are involved in the fugitive’s disappearance.
On October 4, Cassie Laundrie stood outside her property and addressed the mob of people determined to find the FBI’s ‘Most Wanted’ man.
According to TMZ, she claimed the homicide of Gabby Petito and the fact her brother is missing had caused a divide in the family.

The sister said: “I’m losing my parents and my brother, my children’s aunt and future sister-in-law on top of this.
“[My parents] are not talking to us either.”
She then stated that the possibility their parents were involved in Laundrie’s disappearance and his evasion of the authorities couldn’t be ruled out.
As reported by TMZ, Cassie Laundrie added: “We are just as upset frustrated, and heartbroken as everyone else.”
When it comes to the search for Laundrie, the most recent potential ‘sighting’ comes from a hiker who is convinced he met the fugitive on the Appalachian Trail over the weekend.

According to the New York Post, Dennis Davis claimed that the man he met said: “Me and my girlfriend got in a fight but she called me, told me she loves me, and I have to get to California to see her.”
The hiker reportedly told him that he should head west. However, he said the man he believed was Laundrie appeared to be ‘not making sense’ and ‘worried’.
Although there’s no evidence to support his claims, it is possible the 23-year-old could be in the area as is believed to have ‘lived there for months’ in the past.
Laundrie has been missing since September 14. According to reports, he was the last person to see Gabby Petito alive. On September 20, her body was tragically found in a campsite in a national park in Wyoming.
