Britain’s Got Talent viewers have all had the same complaint about Simon Cowell after watching May 30’s semi-final.
It all started when the judge covered his ears at the start of the programme and claimed it was because he ‘doesn’t know who’s on’ and ‘likes to be surprised’.
Viewers quickly took to social media claiming they found it hard to believe the show’s boss wouldn’t know what acts would be on.

One tweeted: “Oh of course Simon knows who’s on,” before adding the eye roll emoji.
“Just finished tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent,” said a second. “I’ve been put off by Simon Cowell the whole episode. He’s acting very bizarrely. Great bunch of semi-finalists tonight!”
A third chimed in: “Give over, don’t chat s*** Simon, you know full-well who’s on tonight’s show.”
Poking fun at what he said during the episode, a fourth remarked: “’It didn’t go the way I was expecting tonight’.” But I thought Simon didn’t know who was in the show?”

The judge made the comment to hosts Ant and Dec at the start of the programme. He said: “By the way, I was doing this [puts fingers in ears] the whole way through the intro because I don’t know who is on tonight’s show so I like to be surprised.
“So that might have looked a bit odd what I was doing and I can’t look behind me but I am very very excited.”
His fellow judge David Walliams couldn’t resist joking: “He doesn’t really know where he is anymore. He is just wheeled in. He doesn’t know what show he is on.”
