Britney Spears has baffled fans after declaring she’s ‘married’ again, just a year after her divorce from Sam Asghari.

The 42-year-old pop icon posted a video on Sunday, wearing a white silk wedding dress and lace veil, posing as a bride.

For her wedding look, Spears styled her blonde hair in loose waves, paired the white dress with pointed-toe black heels, and completed her look with a delicate gold necklace and her signature black eyeliner.

She also shared a separate photo of an empty church without adding a caption, leaving fans wondering about the details of her ‘wedding.’

Following this, Spears posted another video of herself standing at the entrance of a private jet, dressed in a white slip dress and black boots, seemingly headed for a solo honeymoon.

She captioned the post: “!!! Turks and Caicos here I come.”

Later, she shared a poolside clip where she was seen in a yellow bikini, soaking up the sun.

Meanwhile, Britney’s ex-husband Sam Asghari, 30, filed for divorce from her in August 2023 after 14 months of marriage.

Their divorce was finalized in May 2024, when they reached a settlement.

In her memoir, ‘The Woman in Me,’ which became a New York Times bestseller in 2023, Britney expressed appreciation for Asghari’s stability during their relationship, saying: “I love that he doesn’t drink. He’s a gift from God.”

Britney’s romantic history has been well-documented.

She famously annulled her first marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander just 55 hours after tying the knot.

Her second marriage to Kevin Federline, which lasted from 2004 to 2007, resulted in two children, Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18.

Federline had primary custody of their sons for much of their childhood, and last year Britney agreed to their move to Hawaii.

However, it appears that the pop star has been working to rebuild her relationship with her sons.

In June, an insider revealed to the Daily Mail: “Britney has been speaking to, and working on, her relationship with Sean Preston and Jayden for months now.

“The boys have so much love for their mother, as she does for them. Things are fully back on track and they are looking forward to the future together.”

But as for Brit’s new relationship?

Well, instead of walking down the aisle with a groom, Spears revealed she had decided to marry herself, surprising her followers with the unconventional announcement.

“The day I married myself… Bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done!!!” Britney captioned the post.

The video shows her adjusting the veil, and posing for the camera in the bridal outfit. The background music in the clip was Sting’s hit song ‘Fields of Gold.’
