Brooklyn Beckham, who recently changed his name, has reportedly been ‘dropped from his £1million Superdry contract’.

The celebrity chef’s partnership with the fashion brand has apparently come to an end after just eight months, as it apparently searches for new stars to collaborate with.

A Superdry representative told the Daily Mail: “Superdry works with a range of brand ambassadors and enjoyed working with Brooklyn during the launch of our new flagship Oxford Street store and during our Autumn/Winter 21 campaign.

“We always review the ambassadors who feature in our campaigns and decided to work with a different range of talent for Spring/Summer 22.”

It’s believed Brooklyn’s contract involved him promoting Superdry on his various social media channels, as well as posing in the brand’s clothing.

During the partnership, the 23-year-old praised the fashion options and the vegan offerings. At the time, he apparently said: “‘It is so comfortable – my fiancée steals my Superdry T-shirts because they are so soft. She likes to sleep in them.

“There is also a jacket I really connected with – it is orange and cropped so it sits just above my bum, which I like in my T-shirts and jackets. And the shoes are vegan – how is that possible?”

Recently, the star’s new wife, Nicola Peltz, said that Beckham has been seeking career advice from her dad, billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz.

She told Tatler magazine: “Brooklyn is getting into very exciting things with his shows and also business things and it’s really sweet.

“I watch him call my dad and say, ‘What do you think about this?’. I love watching him learn from my dad.”

The 23-year-old also said that Beckham has faced ‘a lot of pressure to please people with his career and he didn’t love it’.
