Burger King Customer Rages Over ‘Secret Charge’ On Food Bill

A Burger King customer has taken to social media and claimed that there was a ‘secret charge’ put on her food bill. 

The woman, who was supposedly at a Michigan site of the branch, has alleged that she was ‘charged’ for items that she didn’t order in a TikTok video.

It was captioned: “Stole $16 cash from me and told the police I didn’t give her cash.”

In the clip, the woman showed her receipt and it revealed that the final total came to $34.95.

Over in the payment section, it stated that $16 was paid for in cash, while there was a Visa charge of $34.95.

Taking to the comments, the customer claimed that she told the officer about the alleged incident and also made a complaint to the branch’s manager. However, she said nothing was done.

She continued: “Still trying to figure out how they put cash in the system but still charged card whole amount. The amount owed should have changed but didn’t.

“I gave them the $16, they were only supposed to charge my card $18.95.

“If they gave me the $16 back then it wouldn’t have been a problem but they DID NOT give me the cash.”

She went on to say that the Burger King staff told the officer she ‘didn’t give them cash’.

Later on, the woman claimed that a manager had gotten in contact with her and stated that ‘disciplinary action’ had been taken, but no one had been fired over the incident.

“I’m writing corporate,” the woman added. “They charged my card the entire amount. I guess they needed gas money.”
