Caitlyn Jenner, who recently criticised critical race theory, has come under fire for her comments about Texas’ abortion ban.
The former Olympian, who is running to be California’s governor, told CNN that although she feels people should have the right to choose whether they go through with a pregnancy, she supports lawmakers who’ve introduced the Heartbeat Act.
In a chat with the network, she said: “I am for a woman’s right to choose. I am also for a state having the ability to make their own law.

“So I support Texas in that decision, that’s their decision. But as far as being a woman’s right to choose, I don’t see any changes in our laws in California in the future.”
When the show’s presenter, Brianna Keilar, said the bill ‘essentially outlaws abortion,’ Jenner responded: “I think that they have the right in their state to do what they want to do.”
She added: “Now do I agree with the decision or not? No. To be honest with you, I actually probably do not agree with the decision. But I agree that they have the right to make their own decision.”

After hearing Jenner’s thoughts, many people took to Twitter and slammed the reality TV star.
One person tweeted: “Sweetie, you know it’s impolite to be always pro your own choices, but f*** everyone else’s, right?”
Another added: “Do you even realise that a lot of women don’t even know they’re pregnant until AFTER six weeks? What do you do then? Think!”
“Hey… let me clear up some confusion for you. You are *not* pro-choice,” a third said.
