Carling has redesigned its pint glasses so it’s a lot easier to carry four at a time.

The new pint glasses now feature a ‘tactile grip’ which mean the glasses will interlock with each other.

So that hands find it easier to wrap around the glasses, they’ve also been made wider at the top and thinner towards the middle.

Discussing the new-look glasses, a spokesperson said: “Our aim was to create the perfect glass for the perfect pint, whilst responding to the needs of our customers. We hope people find getting pints in for friends a far more comfortable experience now.”

The new feature also means it’s much more difficult for people to spike other’s drinks, as glasses will no longer need to be left unattended at the bar as you can carry them all at once.

The pint glasses will be introduced into thousands of pubs, including chains such as Wetherspoons, this Bank Holiday weekend.
