Adult star Annie Knight is opening up in a new interview with IGV about a shocking on-set incident, her family’s reactions to her career, the one request she had to refuse, and offering some bedroom advice for men.

Knight, who described herself as ‘Australia’s most s**ually active woman,’ went viral for having s*x with 583 men in a day.

Now she is revealing the truth about her career and the other side of the industry that viewers don’t see.

She also tells IGV about the one request that she was forced to say no to.

Her journey into adult films

Knight’s turning point came in February 2022, when she was fired from her job after they discovered that she had launched her OFs.

She wasn’t as upset as you might expect, as she had already gone viral on TikTok a few times and was starting to earn money from her side hustle.

The better her marketing performed, the more media attention she received, and the more money she made.

“I realized how good I was at the marketing aspect of it.”

She also believes she was one of the first OFs creators to break into mainstream media, challenging stereotypes about what people thought a creator should look like.

“I didn’t fit the mould,” she adds, “I looked like a private school girl, someone who should be a lawyer or a doctor, and yet here I was doing OFs.

“For some reason, that was a bit more palatable to the media. After that happened, I was like, ‘Wow, I’m obviously good at this.’”

When it came to telling her family, her mum found out the hard way.

She had kept being fired from her job to herself for a month, so her family and friends thought she was still working there.

Then a Channel Seven headline popped up on Facebook: her photo, front and centre. That’s how she found out.

“She didn’t speak to me for two weeks,” she says. Not because of the job, but because she’d lied.

Now, things couldn’t be more different. After proving her five-year plan and success, her mum is ‘the most s*x-positive, supportive mum.’

Her dad and siblings? “We love each other because of who we are as people, not because of what we do for work.”

Her thoughts on the industry

Knight doesn’t hesitate when it comes to new laws blocking under-18s from watching p**n.

“I absolutely agree with the law that you should have to prove you’re 18+,” she says.

While she creates adult content herself, she’s clear that mainstream sites like P***hub can be ‘quite damaging.’

Looking back, she remembers being 16 and thinking that kind of s*x, ‘jackhammer, jackhammer’ with women who didn’t look like they were enjoying it, was normal.

“It teaches the wrong behaviour,” she argues, saying it can condition young men and women to see s** as something performative rather than mutual. “That’s not how it should be.”

When asked about the impact she thinks her work has, she’s clear on where she stands.

“I genuinely believe my work empowers women,” Knight says.

For her, it’s about pushing back against what she calls the “ultimate double standard” -where men are praised as “legends” for having multiple partners, while women are judged or shamed.

“God forbid we enjoy s*x!” she adds. “S*x is meant to be enjoyed.”

By openly expressing her s**uality, she believes that she is challenging that stigma.

She says she receives messages from women thanking her for making them feel ‘normal’ for liking s*x or choosing fun over settling down. “I can’t see it any other way,” she says.

Her biggest piece of advice for anyone thinking about following in her footsteps?

“Really think about it.” She’s clear that this isn’t a quick-cash shortcut: “If you’re in it just for money, don’t do it.”

When she started, it felt ‘super aligned,’ but she warns the industry is now oversaturated and fiercely competitive.

Success takes more than posting a few photo she says, it takes a relentless work ethic, thick skin, and serious social media skills.

“There’s a high chance you’ll lose family and friends. You’ll be judged,” Knight says.

“You are up against it, and it’s going to be a lot of hard work. I work seven days a week, and I’d say 363 days of the year.”

“It’s a hustle. The harder you work, the more money you make.”

If she could change one thing, though, it wouldn’t be the workload, but the culture.

“If I could change one thing about the industry, it would be that there was no competition and that everyone in the industry could support each other a lot more.”

She wishes there were less ‘competitive bulls**t’ and more genuine support between women in the space.

She’d also love to see public perception shift. “We’re actually very smart business women. We work very, very hard.”

In fact, she says this is “the hardest job I’ve ever done.

“I’d love it if people could be more understanding and just give us some more respect.”

Her bedroom tips for men

When it comes to the bedroom, she thinks a lot of men are getting it wrong, and it starts with unrealistic expectations.

The biggest mistake, she says, ‘is that they go in and try to act out a p**n scene.’

Instead of building a connection, some men ‘just jackhammer’ and skip f***play altogether.

For her, that’s where things fall flat. It’s not about performance, it’s about attention.

So what actually works? Selflessness.

“The most attractive thing a guy can do is to be super selfless and say they love to go down on you,” she admits.

A simple, eager ‘please let me go down on you’ is a huge turn-on.

Feeling genuinely wanted and knowing a partner is focused on your pleasure, she says, makes all the difference.

As for stamina, she adds: “Honestly, the ideal time is five to ten minutes.”

For her, it’s less about lasting forever and more about chemistry, enthusiasm, and actually paying attention.

Where she draws the line

When asked if there was anything that she wouldn’t do, she said: “I won’t do urine, blood, or faecal content.

“I also physically am not able to do double p***tration, but hey, not from the lack of trying.”

Knight has clear rules when it comes to filming a scene, specifically with strangers, but this hasn’t stopped incidents from happening.

One of her most shocking on-set moments came just weeks after her 583-guy challenge, when she was filming with men who’d applied to take part.

Beforehand, she’d made her boundaries crystal clear: “I’d given him a list of things I didn’t want to do during the filming, which included hair-pulling, choking, or just being restrained.

“They were all big no-nos.”

But she says the man ignored them almost immediately.

“I kept saying, ‘No, don’t do this’ and ‘Please stop,’ but he wasn’t listening.”

Realising something wasn’t right, she screamed. Thankfully, her security guard rushed in.

“Nothing bad happened,” she says — but the experience was ‘traumatic’ and ‘truly horrible.’

The one request she ‘just had to say no’ to

There was one request that she received that she ‘just had to say no’ to.

Knight said: “A guy asked me for a custom video where I pretended to be his mother, his actual mother, not his stepmother, and wanted me to wear a specific outfit, which I could tell was something that his mother would wear.

“Basically, I was supposed to act like he was a naughty boy, say all this stuff, and yell at him.

“Then, I was supposed to say, “Okay, well, you’ll only get back in the good books if we have s*x.”

“They wanted me to act that out and pretend I was his mother. I just had to say no.”
