Mia Khalifa Explains Why Doing OFs Is Different From Adult Film
Instagram and TikTok star Mia Khalifa has opened up about her OFs venture and explained why she thinks it’s different to creating adult film content.
The former adult star, whose real name is Sarah Joe Chamoun, became an overnight sensation in the p*** industry after starring in a controversial movie in which she performed s** acts while wearing a hijab.
Khalifa left the industry for good after just a handful of films, although the business made her a star.
She’s since spoken out about the world of p***, claiming she was pressured into joining the industry and has warned others not to join.
As normality isn’t a choice for Khalifa, she’s now a social media star and she’s reportedly earned millions through OFs, a content subscription service.
Controversially, she now says creating content on the platform is different from making adult film movies.
People have taken to social media and responded to Khalifa’s views on the matter.
One person disagrees, writing: “It’s not different at all.”
In agreement, another adds: “It’s the same content but a different platform.”
“It’s literally the same thing,” comments a third.
Yet others agree with Khalifa, with one fan commenting: “I’m sure there are lots of differences, to be honest.”
“I get what she means,” says a second.
In an interview with The New York Times, Khalifa explained why she believes creating content on OFs is unlike making adult movies.
She told the publication: “I don’t do nudity past what I’ve done in a fashion magazine, which is like a see-through shirt or something. So I feel secure, and the audience that I’ve cultivated on that platform knows what they’re in for.”
Still, Khalifa is against young women joining the subscription platform, especially if it’s for ‘easy money.’
“I have a responsibility to not promote it as something that any woman should join unless they’ve already been in the s**-work industry unless they’re over 25, their frontal cortex is formed unless they’re coming at it from a place that’s not – I don’t want to use the word ‘desperate’, but from a place of clarity and good intentions,” she added.
Speaking of the dangers of working in the industry, Khalifa continued: “I get a lot of backlash from women in the industry.
“I don’t care if another girl is getting mad at me because I’m stigmatizing something. It is contradictory of me to be on something and tell other people, no, don’t join.
“But I’m not saying don’t join. I’m saying don’t join so young, don’t join as an answer to all of your problems. Just don’t do something you could regret. The internet is forever.”
