Amber Heard Is Pregnant With Second Child – And Everyone’s Saying The Same Thing
Amber Heard has announced she’s pregnant with her second child and now the internet is asking one question.
The Aquaman actress often finds herself under the microscope of public opinion, from her high-profile legal disputes with ex-husband Johnny Depp to her advocacy for social causes.
Now, Heard is again in the headlines following her announcement of a second pregnancy, which has ignited discussion online.
Heard welcomed her first child, daughter Oonagh Paige, in April 2021.
Three months later, the actress revealed the news on Instagram and said the decision to have a child was deeply personal.
She wrote: “I decided I wanted to have a child four years ago. I wanted to do it on my own terms.”
Heard emphasized her desire to normalize the decision to pursue parenthood independently, adding: “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
Since the tumultuous defamation trial with Depp in 2022, The Rum Diary star has sought a quieter life overseas.
She’s reportedly relocated to Madrid, Spain, and is focusing on her family and personal growth.
A source told People the star’s move was a conscious effort to leave behind the ‘chao’ and attention surrounding the trial.
“She’s independent and smart. She needs to heal,” they commented.
Conor Allyn, who directed Heard in the film In the Fire, described her as a ‘dedicated mom’ and noted that she is thriving in Spain, living ‘her best life’ with Oonagh Paige.
While Heard’s personal life has often overshadowed her career, the actress remains active in Hollywood.
She reprised her role as Mera in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and in addition to blockbuster roles, has explored passion projects.
Speaking to Deadline about her work on indie films like In the Fire, Heard said: “The best luck you can have as an actor is to be able to balance [big-budget movies and indie films].”
Now, Heard is preparing to welcome her second child.
The star’s representative confirmed the news in a statement to People: “It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage. Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.”
Following reports of the announcement, speculation regarding the baby’s father has become a hot topic. While her representative has remained tight-lipped, people are eager for answers.
One fan asks: “Who’s the baby daddy?”
Another enquires: “Who’s the father?”
“Baby with whom?” questions a third.
Heard appears to be single as of now. She’s previously been linked to cinematographer Bianca Butti, Tesla billionaire Elon Musk, and art dealer Vito Schnabel.
