Britney Spears Reveals Who She Really Lost Her Virginity To After Lying About It For 30 Years
Britney Spears admitted who she actually lost her virginity to in a shock confession in her memoir, ‘The Woman in Me.‘
The ‘Toxic’ star was on the front cover of magazines as a poster girl for the purity movement at the beginning of her career, and much speculation was made of her virginity at the time.
Spears became one half of a power couple with Justin Timberlake, and they were seen as pop’s sweethearts.
The pair met when they were both just 12 years old and starring on the All New Mickey Mouse Club.
Spears and Timberlake dated from 1999 to 2002, and in 2003 Spears went on to proclaim that she had only slept with ‘one person’ in her ‘whole life,’ with many people assuming that was Timberlake.
The pop star was apparently on set filming a strenuous dance video when Timberlake sent her a cruel text, ending their relationship.
Speaking to W Magazine about losing her virginity, Spears said: “It was two years into my relationship with Justin. And I thought he was the one. But I was wrong.”
Following their high-profile and difficult split, Timberlake went on to write about their relationship and their s** life on his album.
Talking about the betrayal, Spears said: “I didn’t think he was gonna go on Barbara Walters and sell me out.”
The couple accused each other of infidelity as the cause of the relationship breaking down.
Spears made an accusation in her memoir, ‘The Woman In Me,’ claiming Timberlake had cheated on her with another famous woman, but she refused to name the celebrity in question as they ‘have a family and she doesn’t want to embarrass them.’
She also revealed that she became pregnant with Timberlake’s baby when she was just 19 years old, but claimed he encouraged her to have an abortion.
Spears called the decision ‘agonizing’ and said she knew she wanted a family with Timberlake.
The ‘Everytime’ singer wrote: “It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated.
“He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young. I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby.
“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”
There were many shocking confessions in the memoir, and one of the others was who Spears lost her virginity to.
She revealed she lost her virginity at 14 years old to her brother’s childhood best friend.
The singer recalled that she was a freshman and he was a senior at the time, but doesn’t name the man in question.
