Anthony Head’s family confirmed that the actor died peacefully on June 5, 2026.
In a statement shared by daughters Emily and Daisy Head, they revealed that the actor passed away surrounded by loved ones, per Men’s Journal.
“He passed away peacefully of complications due to pneumonia, surrounded by his family,” they said.
The family described him as an “extraordinary father” and said it had been an honor to witness the impact he had on audiences around the world throughout his decades-long career.
Pneumonia is a serious infection that inflames the lungs and can become particularly dangerous for older adults and those with underlying health conditions.
