Caitlyn Jenner Breaks Silence On O.J. Simpson’s Death With Brutal Two-Word Message
Caitlyn Jenner has broken her silence on the death of O.J. Simpson with a brutal two-word message.
The former NFL player, whose full name was Orenthal James Simpson, was one of the most infamous celebrities in history.
His successes were overshadowed by his trial and controversial acquittal of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994.

While Simpson maintained his innocence throughout his life, he was found liable for the deaths in a civil suit from the victims’ families. He would pay very little of the multimillion judgment.
Following the news of his passing aged 76, Caitlyn Jenner, 74, has taken to social media and shared a rather brutal response.
The reality TV star’s ex-wife, Kris Jenner, was best friends with Nicole before her tragic death.
Kris’ ex-husband Robert Kardashian, who died aged 59 in 2003, represented Simpson in his trial.
While O.J. was sensationally acquitted of the murders, many of Nicole’s friends remained convinced he was responsible for their deaths.
When Caitlyn Jenner was asked whether it was hard to watch O.J.’s trial, she responded: “It was an extraordinarily difficult time. Nicole was Kris’ best friend. Had been for a long time.”
The former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star added: “I was at Nicole’s house two days before the murder.”
Jenner also gave a savage assessment of the former NFL player in her autobiography ‘The Secrets of My Life’, penning (via MailOnline): “If I looked in the mirror and loathed myself, I looked at O.J. and saw a monster of a male athlete.
“I wonder if this contributed to my feelings of awkwardness around him, that even if he embodied an archetype that people expected from me.
“There were other contributing factors in my distaste for him: he was the most narcissistic, egocentric, neediest a**hole in the world of sports I had ever seen, and I had seen a lot of them.”
Following the release of the FX series American Crime Story: The People v O.J. Simpson, Jenner would discuss O.J. again in an interview with E! News – saying the series, which she had decided not to watch, brought up ‘painful memories’.
On April 11, it was confirmed by Simpson’s family that he had died following a diagnosis of prostate cancer, as reported by ABC News.
Prostate cancer, which usually develops slowly, is one of the most common types of cancer. It occurs in the ‘small walnut-shaped gland in males’, as per Mayo Clinic.
A statement from Simpson’s family reads: “On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.”
Following news of the former NFL player’s death, Ron Goldman’s father Fred Goldman, tells NBC Sports that the announcement only underscores his grief for his son.
He told the news outlet over the phone: “The only thing I have to say is, it’s just further reminder of Ron being gone all these years.
“It’s no great loss to the world. It’s a further reminder of Ron’s being gone.”
And now Jenner has also summed up her thoughts on the news, publishing a two-word response on X, formerly Twitter.
“Good riddance,” the former Olympian says.
