Channing’s journey in music began with an active presence on social media, where she started releasing work independently. This approach helped her gain initial attention and build a loyal following.
Her real breakthrough came with the release of several tracks that showcased her unique blend of melodic rap and singing. Notable work includes ‘Want Sum’ and ‘Freaky Deaky.’
Eventually, her talent and distinctive style caught the attention of 1017 Records, a label founded by the prominent rapper Gucci Mane.

She even appeared on the 2020 ‘Gucci Mane Presents: So Icy Summer’ mixtape.
The rapper’s music career began to garner significant attention – her YouTube page generated four million views and on Spotify, she had around 660,000 monthly streams.
Channing recalled her musical beginnings in the church choir and being a cheerleader in high school for a profile by the Dallas Observer in 2023.
The rapper said: “I feel like music was always something that was easy for me. I felt like I was musically inclined, always. It was something that I thought should probably put more time and effort into, because it was natural, you know, instead of trying to force a talent.”
She also expressed optimism about the growing presence of female artists in hip-hop, saying: “It’s looking hopeful for more and more women to just continue to blow up. I feel like it was a male-dominated sport, but now it’s becoming more feminine-dominated. I love that for the girls.”
Now, devastating details have emerged on Channing’s passing.
TMZ reports that Channing’s family pulled her off life support after she fell unconscious the day before. A cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
