One fan writes: “Ice Princess was one of my favorite movies growing up. This is devastating.”

Another adds: “May she rest in peace. Loved watching Buffy, such a great show.”

“This is heartbreaking. Eurotrip was one of my fav films as a teenager. She was so likable in everything I saw her in,” comments a third. “My thoughts are with family and friends.”

According to sources from the New York Post, Trachtenberg was found by her mother at around 8 a.m. on February 26 at One Columbus Place, a 51-story luxury apartment complex in Manhattan’s Central Park South neighborhood.

The NYPD confirmed the actress was found ‘unconscious and unresponsive’ by police and pronounced dead by EMS workers.

Trachtenberg is said to have recently undergone a liver transplant. A source told ABC News this reported transplant may have led to complications.

It’s believed the actress died from natural causes, and no foul play is suspected.
