Grey’s Anatomy Star Calls Eric Dane ‘Pure Evil’ Days After His Death
A Grey’s Anatomy co-star of Eric Dane’s has dropped bombshell allegations against the actor just days after his death.
Fans were devastated to learn of Dane’s passing just days ago (February 20), as his family shared the heartbreaking news in a statement with People.
“With heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon,” the statement from his family read.
“He will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered always. Eric adored his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he’s received.”

After hearing the tragic news, fans took to social media and paid tribute.
One fan wrote: “Rest in peace, Dr. McSteamy!”
Another added: “Mr. Eric Dane. Thank you for sharing your craft over the years. Rest In Peace.”
Now, fans have been left speechless as a Grey’s Anatomy actress speaks out, calling the late actor ‘pure evil.’
Eric Dane’s rise to fame
Born on November 9, 1972, in San Francisco, California, Dane developed an interest in performing at a young age.
After taking part in a high school theater production, he began pursuing acting more seriously and eventually relocated to Los Angeles to establish himself in television.
Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, he landed roles on series such as Saved by the Bell, Roseanne, and Charmed, steadily building momentum in his career until a major breakthrough arrived.

In 2006, Dane’s trajectory changed dramatically when he was cast in Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Mark Sloan, the head of plastic surgery, famously dubbed ‘McSteamy’ by fans.
And while Sloan was only ever meant to be a one-episode character, he quickly became a central figure thanks to his charisma and layered personality.
Following his departure from Grey’s Anatomy, Dane embraced a range of roles, including Cal Jacobs on Euphoria, delving into intricate emotional struggles and family dynamics.
He also appeared in numerous films alongside his TV work, including Marley & Me, Valentine’s Day, and Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
Dane’s devastating diagnosis
In April 2025, Dane shared publicly that he had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurological condition commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Dane first noticed weakness in his right hand and arm, but the disease gradually advanced.
Early symptoms of ALS typically include muscle twitches, cramping, and limb weakness, which can progress to more serious challenges such as difficulty with speaking, swallowing, and breathing.
The condition develops as it damages the nerve cells responsible for controlling voluntary muscle movement.

Rather than withdrawing from the public eye, Dane chose to be open about his diagnosis.
ALS is the most common form of motor neurone disease (MND), a group of neurological disorders that affect motor neurons – the nerve cells that regulate muscle activity and movement.
Given that ALS impacts the nerves that control voluntary movement – such as walking, talking, chewing, and breathing – the symptoms progress over time, eventually affecting more and more parts of the body.
In a statement, Dane’s wife, Rebecca Gayheart, shared that he spent his final days surrounded by those closest to him, including his two daughters, Billie and Georgia.
The family said that throughout his illness, the actor became a passionate advocate for ALS awareness and research, determined to use his platform to help others.
Yet just days after news of his passing, a former co-star of Dane’s has made a series of explosive allegations.
Grey’s Anatomy star makes damning allegations
Laura Ann Tull, an actress who starred as an extra in Grey’s Anatomy, has claimed that she is the reason the actor was ‘fired’ from the much-loved medical series.
Writing on Threads, she alleged: “He just died. I only wish he’d apologized & admitted what he did.
“I am why he was fired from Greys. I called Rhimes assistant two weeks before they announced his termination. I doubt they will ever admit that.”
But the allegations didn’t stop there.

Tull added: “He was a coward who abused me. Bullied me. Made fun of me.
“When I had beaten cancer. When I was getting sick with an autoimmune disease.
“His dying doesn’t change destruction he caused me.”
She went as far as to say Dane was ‘pure evil, a bully, and an a-hole’ in her shocking posts.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dane’s 2012 exit from the show was driven by budget and creative decisions, as long-running cast members became more expensive for the network.
