Hailey Bieber Issues Sad Health Update After Devastating Diagnosis
Hailey Bieber has issued a sad health update after a heartbreaking diagnosis.
The model, entrepreneur, and internet personality is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin.
She married pop star Justin Bieber in 2018, and the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024.
In 2022, the model started her skincare business Rhode, so-called after her middle name, and it has gained worldwide popularity.
Recently, Hailey opened up about her health struggles online and has since received an outpouring of support from fans.
One person writes: “I’m thankful this is being shared and awareness brought to it. Sending Hailey well wishes.”
Another adds: “I also suffer from this, it hurts so bad, honestly worse than childbirth. Hopefully, she finds relief.”
“I had the same thing, it was soooo painful. Could barely walk. I even fainted from it. Hope she’s okay,” a third user sympathizes.
This is not the first time the 28-year-old has suffered through a traumatic health issue.
In 2022, Hailey suffered a mini stroke that led to the discovery of a heart condition, which she described as ‘one of the scariest moments’ of her life.
She shared on her Instagram at the time: “I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital.
“They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own, and I recovered completely within a few hours.”
The skincare mogul was later diagnosed with patent foramen ovale (PFO), which the Mayo Clinic states is a hole in the heart that didn’t close the way it should after birth. The hole is a small flap-like opening between the upper heart chambers.
Hailey underwent a procedure to repair her heart, which she described as a ‘fairly large’ opening.
The 28-year-old shared in a YouTube video: “I did this test, and they actually found that I had a grade five PFO, which is the highest grade that you can have.
“But at this point, too, I was just grateful that they found it and that they knew that it was there.”
Hailey said doctors believe the blood clot traveled into her heart, causing her to suffer a transient ischemic attack.
Heartbreakingly, the model has taken to Instagram once again to announce she is struggling with a health problem related to her reproductive organs.
Hailey posted to her story: “Currently have two ovarian cysts, if you deal with ovarian cysts I’m right there with ya!”
Mayo Clinic states that ovarian cysts are sacs, usually filled with fluid, in an ovary or on its surface. Females have two ovaries, with one located on each side of the uterus.
They are fairly common and can cause discomfort, sharp pelvic pain, heaviness, and bloating in the abdomen.
However, symptoms can become more serious if the ovarian cysts become twisted or burst open.
