Denisse Reyes Has Died Aged 27
Influencer Denisse Reyes has tragically died aged 27.
Reyes found fame in 2022 after becoming a viral ‘nenis,’ which means women who sell online products in Mexico.
From there, the 27-year-old opened a store, using her Instagram and TikTok platforms to promote her business in her hometown of Tampico, a city in northeastern Tamaulipas.
After hearing the devastating news of Reyes’ passing, tributes are pouring in from fans.

One follower says: “This is heartbreaking, she was so beautiful.”
Another adds: “May God comfort her family, how sad she was young and very pretty.”
“So sorry for your loss, may she rip. Sending my love to her family and friends,” a third comment.
Reyes’s sister, Massiel Reyes, wrote a heartbreaking post to Facebook: “All my life I will be proud of you and what you were, of all you achieved, of all you were, because I always admire you.
“I was your number one fan because while they saw a beautiful woman making live videos, I saw my girl dancing reggaeton songs and I dreamed of being on television, my admiration for you is very great because I often saw how you took the little you had to give to those who needed it most, your soul was very good.”

Reynes underwent liposuction at a southern Mexico clinic which was reportedly not authorized to perform the procedure.
The influencer shared with her followers that she had the procedure and was recovering.
Her uncle, Ammao Rodríguez, told the Daily Mail that she was administered an intravenous medication by her surgeon, Dr. Orlando Gamboa.
Rodríguez alleges that his niece did not react well to the medication.
He claimed: “She starts to feel sick and goes into cardiac arrest and at that moment they take her out of the room where she was in the [clinic].”
A friend who accompanied Reynes to her surgery was reportedly told by medical staff to wait outside the recovery room and that they would ‘talk to a family member as her condition was delicate.’
Rodríguez also shared that she was transferred to Manzur Hospital as the San Pablo Medical Clinic did not have an intensive care unit.

Heartbreakingly, the 27-year-old condition didn’t improve and she passed away three days after undergoing liposuction.
Her uncle stated she was completely healthy and had no preexisting medical issues.
Rodríguez has since contacted the Chiapas health authorities to file a lawsuit against Dr. Gamboa.
He said: “May the authorities do justice to Denisse and may the doctor pay in some way for what he did.
“It’s not fair that she was already fine after her surgery and suddenly her health worsened to the point of death.”
Dr. Gamboa has not commented publicly on the tragic death.
He previously made headlines in December 2024 when he was accused of being responsible for the death of a woman who died after undergoing liposuction.
Dr. Gamboa denied the accusations and stated he was not involved in the operation and the medical team that performed the procedure was not connected to his clinic.
Reynes is survived by her eight-year-old son.
