The beauty influencer, who had over 82,000 followers on Instagram, typically showcased her lifestyle, including fashion, shopping hauls, and glimpses of her everyday life in Brazil.
Following her untimely death, Martins’ followers have flooded her social media pages with messages of grief and condolences.
One fan writes: “Such a tragic loss. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones. Rest in peace, Jennifer.”

A devastating incident unfolded in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, when the 28-year-old beauty influencer was swept to her death in a terrifying flash flood.
The tragedy occurred early on Sunday morning, with Martins and her husband, Wallison Lima, found clinging to their car in waist-deep water.
In the dramatic moments captured on video, several bystanders attempted to rescue the couple, who had been trapped after their car was caught in the floodwaters.
The video shows a group of people extending a ladder from a window, hoping to reach Martins and Lima.
However, the ladder was too short, and despite desperate efforts, the pair was unable to reach it in time.
Initially, the couple had jumped out of the car after it crashed due to the rapidly rising floodwaters.
They sought refuge by holding onto the vehicle, trying to shield themselves from the powerful current.
As the water flow intensified, their car began to drift away, forcing them to cling even harder to it in a desperate attempt to stay afloat.
Unfortunately, the strong current was too much, and the car was eventually swept away with them.
Despite the best efforts of onlookers, the rescue attempts were unsuccessful.
Martins and Lima were carried further downstream, and eventually, it was confirmed that the beauty influencer had drowned.
Her husband, Lima, miraculously survived, though he has been left devastated by the loss of his wife of eight years.
On social media, he has expressed his heartbreak and shared a post reading: “I just want her back,” accompanied by several crying emojis.
The flash floods that led to Martins’ death were part of a larger weather event affecting the region.
However, local authorities have assured the public that the situation in Uberlândia is under control.
The government reported that essential services, such as electricity, water, internet, and telephone, were unaffected by the floods, and there were no isolated communities or blocked highways in the area.
The government told the New York Post: “We inform you that the situation in the city of Uberlândia is under control. Electricity, water supply, internet, and telephone services have not been affected. There are no isolated communities or blocked highways.”
Although the region had been experiencing heavy rainfall, the government has emphasized that it had been closely monitoring the weather conditions.
Despite these efforts, the sheer force of the floodwaters proved to be too overwhelming for Martins, resulting in the tragic loss of life.
