Influencer Trisha Paytas Urged To Change Baby Boy’s Name After It’s Dubbed The ‘Worst Name Ever’
Trisha Paytas has been known to raise a few eyebrows over the years, and announcing the name of her third child, born in July 2025, was certainly no different.
The YouTube star and podcast host shared the news during a July 22 episode of her Just Trish podcast, ending weeks of speculation from fans who had eagerly been waiting to find out what she and husband Moses Hacmon had chosen.
The announcement quickly became one of the internet’s biggest talking points, with reactions pouring in from supporters and critics alike.
A difficult birth followed by good news
Paytas, who now shares three children with Hacmon, opened up about the circumstances surrounding her son’s arrival, describing the experience as far more difficult than she had anticipated.

Her first daughter, born in 2022, was named Malibu Barbie, while her second daughter, who arrived in May 2024, was given the name Elvis.

When discussing her decision to name her daughter Elvis, Paytas previously explained on her podcast why the name had always held a special place for her.
“I love all names, I think they’re so cute, but I’ve always manifested Malibu and Elvis,” she said. “It’s always been [one of the] names I’ve said, so that’s it.”
She also acknowledged that many people see Elvis as a traditionally masculine name but made it clear she had no hesitation about giving it to a daughter.

She even joked about possibilities including Gerard Way, a nod to the My Chemical Romance frontman, as well as Gerard Wave.
Each rejected suggestion only fueled further excitement among listeners, who continued trying to guess the real answer.
By the time the reveal finally arrived, thousands of fans had already posted their predictions online.
The response that followed was immediate.
Many viewers admitted they initially thought the announcement had to be some kind of joke.
“I feel like we’re being pranked,” one fan wrote.

“This is downright cruel smh,” another commented.

Additional criticism quickly followed.
“What a ridiculous name. This poor baby is going to get bullied,” one person wrote.

The baby’s name finally revealed
After weeks of speculation, dozens of fan theories, and almost an hour of suspense during her podcast episode, Paytas finally shared the name she and Hacmon had chosen for their son.
The answer surprised even longtime followers who thought they had become accustomed to her unconventional naming style.
Their baby boy is named Aquaman.
The superhero-inspired choice immediately sent social media into overdrive, with many users comparing it to the names of the couple’s two daughters and debating whether it was their most unexpected decision yet.
For some fans, the name fit perfectly with Paytas’ famously eccentric personality and willingness to ignore convention.
Others, however, questioned whether such a distinctive name could create challenges for the child later in life.
