Trisha Paytas has been known to raise a few eyebrows over the years, and announcing the name of her third child, born in July 2025, was certainly no different.

The YouTube star and podcast host shared the news during a July 22 episode of her Just Trish podcast, ending weeks of speculation from fans who had eagerly been waiting to find out what she and husband Moses Hacmon had chosen.

The announcement quickly became one of the internet’s biggest talking points, with reactions pouring in from supporters and critics alike.

A difficult birth followed by good news

Paytas, who now shares three children with Hacmon, opened up about the circumstances surrounding her son’s arrival, describing the experience as far more difficult than she had anticipated.

According to the influencer, the birth was both ‘surprising and traumatic,’ ultimately ending in an emergency C-section.

Thankfully, despite the frightening experience, both mother and baby came through safely.

At the beginning of the podcast episode, Hacmon reassured both Paytas and viewers that everything had turned out well.

“You’re okay, you’re doing great,” he told her. “The baby is 100 percent okay, doing great – like, that’s first thing first.”

The emotional update immediately relieved fans who had been concerned after learning the delivery had not gone according to plan.

Although the birth itself was challenging, Paytas appeared in good spirits throughout the episode, reflecting on the experience while celebrating the newest addition to their growing family.

The couple had deliberately kept many details private before the podcast aired, leaving followers counting down to what they assumed would be another headline-making reveal.

As it turned out, they were right.

Fans expected another unusual baby name

Long before the official announcement, social media had already become filled with theories about what Paytas might call her son.

Given her history, fans were convinced the baby’s name would be anything but traditional.

Her first daughter, born in 2022, was named Malibu Barbie, while her second daughter, who arrived in May 2024, was given the name Elvis.

Both names immediately generated enormous discussion online, with some praising the originality while others questioned whether such unconventional choices were fair to the children.

When discussing her decision to name her daughter Elvis, Paytas previously explained on her podcast why the name had always held a special place for her.

“I love all names, I think they’re so cute, but I’ve always manifested Malibu and Elvis,” she said. “It’s always been [one of the] names I’ve said, so that’s it.”

She also acknowledged that many people see Elvis as a traditionally masculine name but made it clear she had no hesitation about giving it to a daughter.

With that history in mind, fans began making increasingly creative guesses for baby number three.

Among the most popular predictions were Trident, Sharkboy, Moses Jr., and Percy Jackson, with many believing Paytas might once again choose a name inspired by pop culture or the ocean.

The theories spread rapidly across TikTok, Reddit, X, and Instagram as viewers attempted to predict what the influencer would eventually announce.

The podcast kept viewers guessing

Rather than reveal the name immediately, Paytas leaned into the anticipation.

She waited until nearly an hour into the Just Trish episode before finally sharing the answer, spending much of the episode discussing names she had considered before deciding against them.

She even joked about possibilities including Gerard Way, a nod to the My Chemical Romance frontman, as well as Gerard Wave.

Each rejected suggestion only fueled further excitement among listeners, who continued trying to guess the real answer.

By the time the reveal finally arrived, thousands of fans had already posted their predictions online.

The response that followed was immediate.

Many viewers admitted they initially thought the announcement had to be some kind of joke.

“I feel like we’re being pranked,” one fan wrote.

Others were far less amused.

“This is downright cruel smh,” another commented.

A third added: “It’s even worse than her others…”

Additional criticism quickly followed.

“What a ridiculous name. This poor baby is going to get bullied,” one person wrote.

Another pleaded: “Are you joking?? Literally you have to change it. There is no way.”

While the criticism dominated many comment sections, there were also supporters who defended Paytas’ right to choose whatever name she wanted for her child, arguing that celebrity baby names have often challenged traditional expectations.

As with her previous announcements, the reveal became a viral talking point almost instantly, generating countless memes, reaction videos, and debates across social media.

The baby’s name finally revealed

After weeks of speculation, dozens of fan theories, and almost an hour of suspense during her podcast episode, Paytas finally shared the name she and Hacmon had chosen for their son.

The answer surprised even longtime followers who thought they had become accustomed to her unconventional naming style.

Their baby boy is named Aquaman.

The superhero-inspired choice immediately sent social media into overdrive, with many users comparing it to the names of the couple’s two daughters and debating whether it was their most unexpected decision yet.

For some fans, the name fit perfectly with Paytas’ famously eccentric personality and willingness to ignore convention.

Others, however, questioned whether such a distinctive name could create challenges for the child later in life.

Regardless of where people stood, one thing was clear: once again, Trisha Paytas had managed to dominate online conversation with a baby-name announcement that few people will forget anytime soon.
