A controversial YouTuber who ‘humiliated’ his ex-partner at the altar has been arrested.

Jack Doherty was taken into custody on Saturday (November 15) in Florida.

The 22-year-old social media personality is known for chaotic, confrontational videos where he regularly provokes strangers in public before ducking behind his security guard.

Recently, he’s pushed into even more extreme territory.

Las Vegas stunt sparks outrage

In November 2024, Doherty pranked OFs model McKinley Richardson at what appeared to be their wedding ceremony in Las Vegas.

The entire stunt was live streamed, including the moment he pulled out a pre-nuptial agreement stating she ‘gets absolutely nothing when I divorce her, even if I cheat.’

He also claimed: “If she cheats, she automatically owes me $10 million. I’ll also receive 100 per cent of her OFs revenue moving forward, even if we divorce.”

The ceremony wasn’t legally binding, but the stunt intensified criticism of the YouTuber’s increasingly reckless content.

Richardson has since described the incident as ‘disgusting’ and ‘humiliating.’

Jack Doherty arrested

Over the weekend, the influencer documented his arrest.

Doherty, who has more than 28 million followers across his platforms, posted on Instagram saying he was ‘free’ and bragging that NBC was waiting to interview him.

He even mentioned people he had met in jail before saying: “Party outside of the jail cell, let’s get it,” sharing several news stories about his own arrest.

He was arrested after police uncovered ‘half of an orange oval-shaped pill with 3 imprinted on it, consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine,’ along with three ‘suspected cannabis cigarettes.’

He could face seven years in prison.

Jack Doherty brags after release

After his release, Doherty uploaded another video showing the men he claims he befriended in jail while holding a bag of his belongings.

He asked: “How was I like in jail? Was I running that s*** or what?”

He went on to claim he got ‘everyone’s lunch money’ while locked up.

One of the men featured in the video said he was taking ‘people’s s***’ in jail.

Doherty captioned the clip: “I ran that jail so fast,” followed by an exhaling emoji and a laughing emoji.

Whether his version of events is accurate remains unclear, but he appeared celebratory, saying he had made it out in time to ‘shoot with 6ix9ine tomorrow’ –referring to the rapper whose criminal history includes child s** offences and domestic violence.

Internet mocks Jack Doherty

Many on social media have mocked the influencer after his run-in with the cops.

One person said: “Can’t imagine what will happen to him in prison without his bodyguard.”

Another added: “Let’s see what he says when he goes to prison – not the local lock up.”

A third joked: “He’ll be doing anything for protection in there.”

Bond posted after alleged resistance

Public records show Doherty’s bond was set at $3,500 before being paid.

Reports also claim the online star resisted arrest during the incident.

Doherty encouraged fans to ‘download all of the news clips’ they found and send them to him.

He posted his official mugshot alongside the caption: “First day out.”
