James Buckley Became Millionaire After The Inbetweeners Without Acting Income
James Buckley became a millionaire after starring in the hugely popular sitcom The Inbetweeners, and it was without his acting income.
The Inbetweeners is a British coming-of-age TV sitcom that follows the misadventures of teenagers William McKenzie (Simon Bird), and his friends, Simon Cooper (Joe Thomas), Neil Sutherland (Blake Harrison), and Jay Cartwright (Buckley).
The series, which originally aired between 2008 to 2010, involves the situations of school life, from friendship to adolescent s**uality.
Since airing, The Inbetweeners has been listed among the most successful British sitcoms of the 21st century.
Its popularity has even led to two movies: The Inbetweeners Movie and The Inbetweeners 2.
One of the sitcom’s biggest stars, Buckley, now has a staggering net worth – surprisingly, he’s not entirely made his fortune from his time on the show.

It’s not exactly clear how much The Inbetweeners cast were paid during their time on the sitcom, however, Harrison has previously said he had to get a second job between filming the first two seasons.
In an interview with Radio Times, the actor said: “In between the first and second series, I worked in the Scare Chamber at Madame Tussauds because we weren’t paid well.”
Meanwhile, Buckley, who is best known for his role as Cartwright, has since made himself an eye-watering net worth.
On Spencer Matthew’s Big Fish Podcast, the star revealed he sends fans personalized videos and it can make him over $13,000 (£10,000) a week.
Buckley joined Cameo, the personalized video app, in March 2020 and has since become the first non-U.S. celebrity to make $1 million (£930,000).

Cameo’s platform’s founder, Martin Blencowe, said The Inbetweeners star ‘takes it very seriously’ and is ‘ready to do the work’ after it was reported that he replied to around 37 video requests per day in 2021.
He commented: “James was incredibly popular from the start, but he’s stayed committed to his fans, always keeping an accessible price (even during his busiest periods) and giving his all to make each Cameo special.”
Blencowe added that the actor’s hard work means he’s been able to pursue passion projects, such as starring in the West End play 2:22 – A Ghost Story.
Buckley said he ‘didn’t want to take the p*** out of people’ so has chosen to charge fans $52 (£40).
He shared (per MailOnline): “I have done tens of thousands. Tens and tens of thousands, maybe thirty, forty thousand, something like that.
“It was a godsend financially. But I never wanted to take the piss. I’m in the business of making people happy. I don’t want to rip people off.”
