Jamie Lee Curtis Tells Actress To ‘Go F**k Yourself’ On Red Carpet
Jamie Lee Curtis left jaws on the floor when she told a fellow actress to go and f**k herself on the red carpet of the Las Culturistas Culture Awards.
The actress is known for being a big supporter of other women in the industry, as we’ve seen from her long-time friendship with Freaky Friday co-star Lindsay Lohan.
However, the Hollywood icon has long had a reputation for speaking her mind, even on the most controversial topics, so you might not be surprised to learn about the public F-bomb.
The Halloween star has been very vocal about the pressure on women in the acting industry to undergo cosmetic procedures, revealing how she herself underwent cosmetic surgery at a young age after a cameraman commented on her appearance.
Regretting her own decision, Curtis has spoken out against the use of filters, fillers and unrealistic beauty standards, insisting the beauty industry ‘wipes out generations of natural human appearance.’
The 67-year-old has also never shied away from sharing her political views, having publicly supported Democratic candidates, often using her platform to encourage people to get out and vote.

The offending incident took place on the red carpet of Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang’s inaugural Las Culturistas Awards when Curtis spotted the outfit choice of I, Tonya star Allison Janney.
Thankfully the entire thing was caught on camera and was previously stared on Instagram by Janney, who seemed to take the exchange in her stride.
In the clip, Curtis jumped straight into hype-man mode after spotting her pal’s fabulous outfit, which consisted of a black blazer, sheer black tights and no pants.
With a look of awe on her face, she told Janney: “You can go f**k yourself,” before going in for a tight hug.
You didn’t really think the queen of supporting other women would verbally attack another actress, did you?
Sharing the exchange on Instagram, Janney wrote: “What a thrill to attend the @lasculturistas awards!
“Thank you @fayedunaway and @mattrogerstho and for my favorite red carpet shout out @jamieleecurtis I adore you! Also @sethmcfarlane for my favorite animated shout out.
“Don’t miss the Las Culturistas Culture Awards airing August 5th on @BravoTV and streaming on @Peacock! #CultureAwards2025… Oh also, I want to thank my glam team!”
Fortunately it was clear to fans that Curtis was just joking around, and many were quick to agree after seeing how incredible the West Wing star looked.
“If you’re ever having a bad day @allisonbjanney you just need to come to this post and rewatch Jamie Lee Curtis reaction to you,” one person commented. “Or the video of that smooth slow catwalk in that outfit! A literal Goddess.”
Meanwhile, another added: “Jamie Lee’s response to seeing Queen Janney’s whole outfit was THE best response! We are all feeling the same.”
A third wrote: “Love seeing women supporting women.”
Jamie Lee Curtis always supports other people in the industry
The perfect example of Curtis being the ultimate hype woman came when her Everything Everywhere All at Once co-star Michelle Yeoh bagged her first ever Golden Globe for her appearance in the movie in 2023.
Cameras captured the moment she jumped up cheering with joy while Yeoh broke down in tears next to her.
Curtis went on to have the joyous occasion printed on a t-shirt, which she then wore in an Instagram post where she expressed her happiness about the fact the event had become ‘some sort of symbol for women supporting other women.’
More recently, the Oscar winner showed public support for her Last Showgirl colleague Pamela Anderson and her whirlwind romance with Liam Neeson.
“If love has found its way into that relationship, God bless them both, leave them the f**k alone and let them like each other,” she said during an interview with VT.
“Because both of them have had hardship, and they’re both beautiful human beings. And if they actually have found an intimate love with each other, we should all go to bed tonight feeling better.”
