Jennifer Aniston said there was a male actor on the set of Friends who acted unpleasantly.

The TV sitcom, which ran from 1994 to 2004, is considered one of the most popular shows of all time.

It follows the lives of six friends who live in New York as they go through their 20s and early 30s.

The main cast, along with Aniston, included David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Matthew Perry.

Throughout the show’s run, it also featured a number of guest stars, including Reese Witherspoon and Brad Pitt.

According to Aniston, there was one guest star who was unpleasant on-set.

Appearing on The Howard Stern Show alongside Cox and Kudrow, Aniston said: “The funny thing is that male did apologize about their behavior years later and just said, ‘I was so nervous, to be honest, that I wasn’t on my best behavior.’

“It was as if they were just too ‘above’ this to be on a sitcom.”

The actress recalled a time when the mystery guest was disinterested in a network run-through.

She continued: “And this person would be like, ‘Listen to them, just laughing at their own jokes. So stupid, not even funny.’

“It was just like, ‘What are you doing here? Your attitude, this is not what we’re all about. This is a wonderful, warm place to be, and you’re coming into our home and just s*** on it.'”

Aniston was then asked if the actor she was talking about was Tom Selleck, who had a recurring role as Monica’s much older boyfriend, Dr. Richard Burke.

She jokingly responded: “It was Tom. You just don’t know how cruel and unusual he is,” before adding: “Tom has an angel’s halo over his head, it’s just a permanent halo over Tom’s head.”

This is not the first time that one of the main actors in Friends has spoken out about a guest star’s poor behavior.

Back in 2017, Kudrow recalled the time she was told she was ‘f***able’ by an actor appearing on the show.

Speaking to Andy Cohen on the U.S. show Watch What Happens Live, she recalled (via NME): “I rehearsed without makeup most of the week, and then on show night I’m in hair and makeup and I was told, ‘Oh wow, NOW you’re’ – can I say it? ‘Now you’re f***able.'”

Kudrow said she went to LeBlanc about the incident as he was ‘like a big brother’ to her.

Despite not revealing the identity of this actor, she did clarify that it was not Charlie Sheen, who appeared in the episode ‘The One With The Chicken Pox.’
