Joe Jonas Named Celebrity He Lost His Virginity To And It Didn’t Go Down Well
Joe Jonas has revealed the celebrity that he lost his virginity to, and it hasn’t gone down well with the person involved.
The Jonas Brothers member, who starred in the widely successful Camp Rock movies, provided the intimate story about losing his virginity in a now-famous Reddit thread called ‘Ask Me Anything.’
Recounting the night, he didn’t hold back: “I didn’t have any condoms, so I went to our drummer Jack’s room – who was my roommate at the time – and I demolished his room looking for them.”
After a thorough search, Joe ‘found them underneath his underwear drawer’ – so his roommate ‘thought somebody broke into his room because his whole room was demolished.’
Joe added: “I was in dire need. Needed to happen then and now. Safety first, kids.”
The celebrity whom Joe lost his virginity to didn’t appear to be impressed by this reveal.
She seemingly hinted at her disapproval with a cryptic message on her Instagram account, a quote reading: “Class is timeless.”
Many have interpreted this as a subtle response to Joe’s Reddit confession.
Early in his career, Joe and his brothers, Nick and Kevin, initially promised to abstain from premarital s**, symbolized by the purity rings they wore.
However, Joe’s views appeared to change when he began dating the celeb he lost his virginity to.
Their relationship was highly publicized, with Joe even opening up about why he and the star eventually parted ways.
Speaking to Vulture in 2013, he explained: “We were together for almost a year. I was living out in L.A. by myself, and at the end of the day, long distance didn’t work. It’s incredibly difficult.”
In October 2016, Joe offered a bit more insight to Entertainment Tonight, explaining: “I don’t know. I think life‘s too short, you know?
“I mean ultimately, I think of myself as an honest guy. There are just those moments in life where you have to be true to yourself and true to the world.
“I’m not out to hurt anybody, but I think, ultimately, I’m just telling my stories and what I can say from my heart.”
The celebrity Joe lost his virginity to was actress Ashley Greene, best recognized for her role as Alice Cullen in the Twilight movies. They dated from the summer of 2010 to March 2011.
On the Reddit thread, the Jonas Brothers member said: “I lost my virginity to this girl named Ashley,” adding: “You can probably just Google it. It’s pretty easy to figure out.”
Following his relationship with Greene, Joe eventually married Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
The couple had two children together, but their marriage ended in 2023 after four years.
In a joint statement, the two said: “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision. We sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
Greene married entrepreneur Paul Khoury in 2018, and they share a daughter.
