Johnny Depp Fans Pray For Actor After He Suffers ‘Painful’ Injury
Johnny Depp fans are praying for the actor after he suffered a ‘painful’ injury.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 59, has starred in a number of blockbuster films such as Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Following his high-profile defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard, Depp is set to make his comeback in the French film Jeanne du Barry.
While this is a big deal for the Alice in Wonderland star, it seems promoting the movie has had an impact on his health.

According to TMZ, Depp injured his ankle while doing press for the film at Cannes Film Festival – where his performance as King Louis XV received a seven-minute standing ovation.
The outlet adds that he further injured it while he was performing tribute gigs for his late friend Jeff Beck – who passed away in early 2023.
Depp has now fractured his ankle which has led to his band, The Hollywood Vampires, cancelling a number of their concerts.
The band confirmed this in an Instagram post, where they announced that their shows in Boston, New Hampshire and New York have been postponed.

The caption reads: “We are sad to share that the Hollywood Vampires will be rescheduling our three US tour dates this coming week.
“Johnny has sustained a painful injury to his ankle following his recent appearances and has been advised by his doctor not to travel.
“He is devastated by this turn of events, but looks forward to resting up so all four Vampires can bring their absolute best to the tour in Europe.”

Fans of the Fantastic Beasts star have taken to the comments and said they wish the star will get better soon, with one person saying: “We hope he recovers soon.”
“Let him get some rest he deserves,” someone else comments.
Another fan adds: “We understand! Johnny’s health comes first, we hope he feels better soon. We love you guys.”
While a fourth says: “Oh that’s really sad, but understandable. Get well soon Johnny and I send you some strength.”

Depp formed the band with legendary rock and roll icon Alice Cooper and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry in 2012.
Originally the band performed cover songs to honour rock stars who died in the 1970s.
They have released two albums, with their second album – Rise – reaching the top 10 of the Billboard Top Hard Rock charts.
