Jon Bon Jovi has addressed the concerns over his son being engaged to Millie Bobby Brown.
The ‘It’s My Life’ singer, 61, is the father of Jake Bongiovi, 20, who became engaged to Brown, 19, in April.
While many have congratulated the loved-up couple, others have taken to social media and said they are worried for the Stranger Things actress.
And now, Jake’s father, rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, has offered his take.

Bongiovi and Brown dropped the news on social media, with the Enola Holmes star captioning her post: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”
But it didn’t take long for people to start questioning the couple’s decision to get engaged.
Pop Sugar reports that numerous critics have said Brown and Bongiovi are ‘too young’ to be married, with Millie still in her teens.
On Instagram, one person writes: “Unpopular opinion but she’s way too young to be engaged. But age 19, you don’t even know who you are yet.”

Another adds: “Look, they seem cute, but she’s 19 right? They’re too young to be getting engaged, WTF?”
While a third writes: “Sorry to be a killjoy but this is not going to last, Millie you grew up too fast, you deserve a normal and fun adolescence. You are 19.”

Many have also pointed out that the pair have only been dating for less than two years – while suggesting they ‘should have waited’ a bit longer.
However, it’s likely that the only opinions the pair care for are those closest to them.
And Jake’s rockstar dad definitely approves.

Speaking to Andy Cohen Live, Jon says: “I don’t know if age matters if you find the right partner and you grow together.
“That would be my advice: Growing together is wise.
“So, I think all my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with, and we like them all.”
Jon adds: “Millie’s wonderful. Her whole family are great. Jake is very, very happy.”
It should also be noted that due to Brown’s career and teen stardom, her life has been very different and full of experiences that most 19-year-olds wouldn’t have had at this stage of their lives.
This has been echoed by pop star Ariana Grande, whose comment beneath a post of Brown’s when she was just 14 has been dug up by fans after her big announcement.
Commenting beneath Brown’s post, in which she is seen kissing her ex-boyfriend Jacob Sartorius on top of a lifeguard watchtower captioned ‘moonlight with him’, Grande quipped: “I wasn’t even allowed to leave my house until I was 20.”
