Kanye West Reveals He Had ‘Incestuous Relationship’ With Male Relative
Kanye West has claimed he had an ‘incestuous relationship’ with a male relative.
The troubling claims surfaced on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where the controversial rapper alleged he had a s**ual relationship with one of his relatives as a child.
This revelation coincided with the promotion of his new track titled ‘COUSINS,’ for which he shared a snippet featuring blurred visuals and what appeared to be semi-p****graphic imagery.
In his online posts, West detailed the inspiration behind the song, claiming it stemmed from his relationship with his cousin and the alleged incestuous encounters.
The ‘All of the Lights’ rapper did not disclose the identity of the cousin in question.
This is not the first time West has publicly spoken about a cousin who is incarcerated.
In a 2018 interview with Jimmy Kimmel, he mentioned (per the Mirror): “My cousin is locked up for murder and I love him. So he did a bad thing, but I still love him.”
Five years ago, West’s former wife, Kim Kardashian, also referenced this cousin in her documentary, Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project.
At the time, the only information shared was that the cousin had been convicted of murder at the age of 17 and was serving a double life sentence.
Speaking with Marc Howard, president of the Frederick Douglass Project for Justice and director of Georgetown University’s Prisons and Justice Initiative, Kardashian explained: “[Kanye’s] cousin has a double life sentence for a murder that he committed when he was 17.”
One of West’s tweets, which has garnered significant attention with over 4.4 million views, stated: “This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t ‘look at dirty magazines together’ anymore.”
In the same post, West continued to express a sense of responsibility, writing: “Perhaps in my self-centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.”
Further elaborating on the source of the explicit material, West mentioned: “My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different My name is Ye and I sucked my cousins d**k till I was 14 Tweet sent.”
