Kelly Ripa Reveals Mark Consuelos’ ‘Disgusting’ S*x Habit She Finds ‘Repulsive’
Kelly Ripa has revealed one ‘disgusting’ s*x habit her husband Mark Consuelos has that she finds repulsive.
Ripa and Consuelos have been a long-time Hollywood power couple, known for their on-screen and off-screen chemistry.
The pair met and rose to fame on the set of the daytime soap opera All My Children.
Ripa,54, then began her new career path as a talk show host, becoming the face of Live! — first alongside Regis Philbin, then Michael Strahan, and now with her husband.
Consuelos, 54, has since worked on the hit TV show Riverdale, where he played Hiram Lodge.
After meeting in 1995, the couple eloped in Las Vegas in 1996. They have three children, Michael, Lola, and Joaquin, who are all now adults.
In 2023, Consuelos joined his wife as the co-host of Live with Kelly and Mark, bringing their solid, long-standing relationship to daytime television.
The couple frequently shares personal stories on their talk show, different from many other celebrities’ standards.
They’ve openly shared with viewers about the ups and downs of relationships, including how they used therapy early in marriage to improve their communication style.
It was important for them that their children were raised in a grounded environment.
They required their kids to work part‑time jobs, have personal responsibilities, and keep a ‘normal’ household despite their parents’ success.
Nothing is off the table to discuss with the world for Ripa and Consuelos, including their intimate life.
Ripa previously shared on the talk show that if they were ever to break up, her ‘dating life would be over.’
The star said: “Let’s just say you were to leave me, I can say with 100 percent certainty that dating is out of the question. I’ve had three kids, and there’s too much to explain.
“I’m not ever getting naked again,” she added, “and I resent having to get naked in front of you sometimes.”
On a recent episode of the podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat, hosted by Amanda Hirsch, the 54-year-old shared the one disgusting s*x habit her husband has which she hates.
She revealed her husband of 29 years has a love for morning s*x, which she cannot get behind.
Speaking candidly to Hirsch, she shared that Consuelos only wants to be intimate in the morning.
“I find it disgusting, he’s a guy, he’s never going to learn,” the star said.
Ripa discussed why she doesn’t enjoy the morning bedroom fun: “I have a retainer in, I gotta rip that out. And he’s got his nasal strips on. It’s like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people]. I’m already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning.”
But the A-lister shared how they communicated through their s*x differences: “I said to him, ‘Here’s the thing, there needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can’t always be your way.
“‘It feels like 90 percent of the time it’s your way, and now that we work together every day, it’s gonna have to sometimes be my way. And my way’s at night only.’”
Ripa also added that since her husband joined her as co-host on Live! it helped with her distaste for morning s*x.
“The greatest thing about this job,” Ripa said, “This thing has almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week, which is like a miracle.”
“May this show last until he suffers from er**tile dysfunction,” the talk show joked. “He’s in his mid-50s now. Shouldn’t that be happening now? I was promised!”
