Kendrick Lamar Performs At Super Bowl Halftime Show – And Everyone Is Making The Same Joke
Everyone is making the same joke about Kendrick Lamar as they watch his Super Bowl halftime performance.
The ‘Money Trees’ rapper took center stage at this year’s halftime show and put on an incredible performance, delivering both old and new tracks.
It comes just days after the highly-acclaimed hip-hop artist won five awards at this year’s Grammys, including two in the ‘Big Four’ categories.
And while Lamar’s appearance has certainly made headlines, it’s not entirely because of his performance.

Lamar’s performance, which he will not be paid for, was kicked off by actor Samuel L. Jackson as Uncle Sam, announcing: “It’s your Uncle Sam, and this is the great American game!”
The rapper then arrived on a 1987 Buick Grand National GNX, a rare car that his album is named after.
He performed numerous tracks from his discography, in addition to some unreleased songs to fans’ excitement.
Lamar teased viewers at one point in the show: “I want to play their favorite song… but you know they love to sue,” referencing his Grammy-winning song ‘Not Like Us,’ a diss track against rap rival Drake.
‘Not Like Us’ was released in May 2024 and was met with widespread acclaim by critics. It’s regarded as one of the best diss tracks in history.
Lamar also surprised viewers with guest cameos from singer SZA, record producer Mustard, and tennis legend Serena Williams.

For the highly-anticipated performance, Lamar was surrounded by a sea of dancers dressed in red, white, and blue, with the show having political symbols throughout.
The rapper sported a varsity jacket with ‘Gloria’ written across it, a nod to his song ‘Gloria’ from his upcoming album ‘GNX.’ ‘Gloria’ means ‘glory’ in Spanish, representing his belief in the power of music to challenge, and define culture.
Yet another part of Lamar’s outfit left many Super Bowl viewers highly amused.
As one person savagely put it: “Can’t believe Kendrick did all that in the most Hannah Montanna-looking bootcut jeans I’ve seen in years.”
Another added: “The first thing I noticed was those JEANS!”
“Kendrick Lamar had his early 2000s Britney Spears jeans on!” a third viewer joked.
Still, some fans approved of the rapper’s fashion choice, with one person enthusing: “He rocked the hell out of those jeans. I want some now.”
In agreement, a second said: “I loved them! They looked amazing.”
With baggy jeans dominating the market, Lamar performed in Celine bootcut flared blue jeans, bringing back the style of trousers to a worldwide stage.
