Kylie Jenner caused a stir this week when she announced her second child’s name is no longer Wolf, and it’s now been revealed that she also changed her daughter Stormi’s name when she was born.

The reality star, who recently opened up about her postpartum ‘struggles,’ appeared on James Charles’ YouTube channel back in 2018 and spoke about how the unique moniker was originally going to be spelt ‘Stormie’.

She told the makeup guru: “It was always Stormie with an ‘ie’. I bought custom things for her that said her name, ‘ie’.

“I bought her the blocks, ‘ie’. I didn’t fully choose her name, I wanted to have a week of just me and her to see if I wanted to change it.”

She added: “I had one other name in mind, but Stormi always felt like her name from when she was in the womb. It’s almost like she chose her name.”

Apparently, the 24-year-old made the decision to cut ‘ie’ from Stormi’s name when it came to finalising the now four-year-old’s birth certificate.

Jenner shocked her fans when she took to Instagram to let them know her son’s name had changed.

In her stories, she penned: “FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

After she made the announcement, many of Jenner’s fans took to social media and speculated that she changed the name because of her ex-friend, Australian influencer Tammy Hembrow.

The rumours originally began when the millionaire announced her son’s name and Hembrow took to social media and shared a photo of her own child, alongside the caption: “My Wolf.”

Amused, one commented: “Shady, love it.”

“I’m glad I’m not the only one who made the connection mad quick and came to Tammy’s page,” added another.
