Lady Gaga fans are mortified after finding out the lyrics behind one of her most popular songs are extremely rude.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, known professionally as Lady Gaga, is one of the most influential figures in the music industry.

She’s estimated to have sold 124 million records and is one of the world‘s best-selling artists.

Gaga’s first studio album is ‘The Fame,’ which was released in 2008.

Many singles came out of the album, from ‘Just Dance’ to ‘Paparazzi.’ as well as ‘Poker Face.’

‘Poker Face’ gained worldwide success and topped the charts in 20 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

Most critics also acclaimed it, praising its hook and chorus.

But to this day, many fans of the song still don’t realize that it’s naughtier than it sounds.

It turns out, many of us have been singing it completely wrong.

It’s not ‘Po-po-po-poker face, po-po-po-poker face (Mum-mum-mum-mah)’ at all, but something much more X-rated.

After learning what the lyrics really are, one fan wrote: “Why does Spotify lyrics say this? I always thought it was ‘Po-po-po-poker face, po-po-poker face.'”

“I was today years old,” another said.

A third person wrote: “I didn’t even notice till now.”

“How old were you when you found out that these are the actual lyrics to Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’?” somebody else asked.

It turns out, the lyrics are actually: “Po-po-po-poker face, fu-fu-f*** her face (Mum-mum-mum-mah), Po-po-po-poker face, fu-fu-f*** her face (Mum-mum-mum-mah).”

Lady Gaga actually made a nod to the explicit lyrics when she was playing at iHeartRadio Wango Tango, an annual concert held by the U.S. radio station KIIS FM,  in 2009.

She said (per TheThings): “KIIS FM is the smartest radio station in the whole world, and I’ll tell you why. Because this song, it got played all over the world on tens of thousands of radio stations, but KIIS FM was the only one that said I had to censor my lyrics because they thought I might be saying something bad.

“And out of all the radio stations in the world that played this record over and over, KIIS FM was the only one that was right and caught on.”
