A lip reader claims to have deciphered the three-word comment Taylor Swift made at the Super Bowl while being booed.

The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer attended the event to support her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as his team faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Swift, who has frequently appeared at Chiefs games, was also expected to show her support for ‘Bad Blood’ collaborator Kendrick Lamar, who headlined the highly anticipated halftime show.

A clip shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by NFL reporter Ari Meirov captured the moment Swift appeared on the stadium’s big screen alongside rapper Ice Spice.

The footage shows an audible reaction from the crowd, with many fans speculating that Swift was booed predominantly by Eagles supporters.

Meirov noted in his post: “Taylor Swift got showed on the big screen and got booed aggressively.”

Given the Eagles’ history with the Chiefs, the negative response from their fans was not entirely unexpected. The two teams had faced off previously, with the Chiefs securing a victory in the 2023 Super Bowl.

The video quickly gained traction online, sparking debates among NFL and Swift fans.

One user questioned: “Is she really so oblivious? The NFL fan base isn’t her fanbase. Why would people cheer for her?”

Yet another asked: “What exactly did she do to everyone?”

This development follows news that former U.S. President Donald Trump was also present at the Super Bowl.

Trump, who has previously expressed his disdain for Swift due to her public endorsement of Kamala Harris in the presidential election, was seen arriving at the stadium.

Kelce, addressing Trump’s attendance, stated: “That’s awesome, it’s a great honor. No matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life. Having the president there, it’s the best country in the world and that’s pretty cool.”

During the national anthem, cameras briefly focused on Trump, leading to speculation over whether the crowd’s reaction was one of boos or cheers.

“Y’all didn’t boo at Donald Trump loud enough,” one person commented, while another observed: “Did they boo or cheer Trump? Difficult to tell.”

As the game progressed, the Eagles maintained a commanding lead at halftime, up 24-0, threatening the Chiefs’ aspirations for a third consecutive Super Bowl victory.

Swift, who had attended the previous year’s championship game to celebrate Kelce’s win, has been a frequent subject of NFL broadcasts, with her presence at games significantly boosting viewership.

This increase has fueled speculation about whether her relationship with Kelce is being leveraged for marketing purposes.

When asked about such theories, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell dismissed the idea, stating: “I don’t think I’m that good [of] a scripter or anybody on our staff. There’s no way that I could have scripted that one.”

Meanwhile, a lip reader has provided additional insight into Swift’s reaction to being booed.

NJ Hickling claimed to the Mirror US that Swift said: “Aww what, what’s going on,” seemingly surprised by the response.
