The internet has been left stunned by the age-defying appearance of 93-year-old Hollywood star Mamie Van Doren.
Born February 6, 1931, Mamie Van Doren has just turned 93 years old.
But she looks far, far younger than her nine decades.
People have been left baffled by her ageless appearance, with some even calling her a vampire!
One fan asks: “What’s her secret????????”
“She still looks like a teen,” adds another.
Somebody else questions: “Is that the same person?”

“Vampire?” a further commenter jokes.
Another pens: “This woman’s surgeons need to be studied I swear to god – spectacular work!”
“She looks like she is still in her 40s, while I am just 35 but I look older than her!! Dang,” someone else writes.
Van Doren was born Joan Olander, named after Joan Crawford, and grew up on a farm in South Dakota.
She moved to Los Angeles in 1942 and began her pursuit of stardom.
Van Doren began her working life as a movie theatre usher but quickly started getting cast in television and film bit-parts – largely thanks to her striking good looks.
She also sang with bands and took part in the beauty pageant circuit.
In the summer of 1949, at age 18, she won the titles Miss Eight Ball and Miss Palm Springs.
But it was when Van Doren met Hollywood producer Howard Hughes that her career really took off.
She began getting extra work in several RKO films, including His Kind of Woman (1951) which starred Robert Mitchum, Jane Russell and Vincent Price.
Van Doren reportedly joked about her small role: “If you blinked you would miss me. I look barely old enough to drive.”
This was when Van Doren adopted her stage name, and her stardom rose.
She was a fifties bombshell, alongside other huge names like Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield.
Some of Van Doren’s most famous movies include Teacher’s Pet, Born Reckless, High School Confidential, and The Beat Generation.
She also reportedly dated some of the biggest stars of the era, like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, John Carson, and James Dean.
Van Doren married five times, but it seems it was fifth time lucky, as she has now been with her hubby Thomas Dixon for almost 50 years.
She also has one son, Perry Ray Anthony with her second husband, composer and actor Ray Anthony.
And now, Van Doren has revealed the secrets behind why she looks so young.
She tells The Good Men Project: “I’ve always taken care of my health – never been much of a drinker, never smoked cigarettes, never done drugs much, except smoking occasional pot and that’s been decades ago. I’m not a virgin, and good s** really does help.”
She adds: “One of the interesting things about longevity if one is a so-called celebrity, is that you are seldom the one hearing the clock ticking. Everyone else goes out of their way to watch the hands and never hesitates to let you know when one clicks on the next number.”
Van Doren also confirms as per Star Pulse: “I’ve never done anything except a facelift. I’ve never had br***t enhancements. As I got older, I also got larger. Every woman gets larger when she gets older. And frankly, I was blessed with large br***ts, if that’s what you want to know.
“I’m in good shape and as far as keeping my figure, I do Pilates. I walk a mile and a half to two miles a day. I’m a Buddhist and meditate.”
Since the height of her fame in the fifties, Van Doren has certainly kept busy.
She’s released several musical albums and tell-all books about her life in Hollywood’s golden era.
Van Doren maintains a social media presence, with active X (formerly Twitter) profiles and even an archived blog.
As per IMDB, Van Doren is quoted as saying: “I came to Hollywood determined to follow in Jean Harlow’s footsteps, but I was determined not to die young. My hope was to endure. And endure I have.”
