Netflix Star Dies Aged 44 After Collapsing On Gym Treadmill
A Netflix star has been confirmed dead after reportedly collapsing on a treadmill.
Vittorio Pirbazari, 44, gained fame in the fitness industry as a member of the Hardgainer Crew, a group of well-known fitness YouTubers.
His channel, which amassed over 200,000 subscribers, helped establish his presence in the bodybuilding world before he shifted focus to acting.
He was also well-known for portraying a villain in the Netflix series Dogs of Berlin.
Fans have been left devastated after learning the news of his passing, which was confirmed on Instagram by his friend and fellow actor, Said Ibrahim, who described him as having ‘a soft heart like a ten-year-old.’
One fan wrote: “Rest in peace, Vito!”
“Rest in peace, brother. I can’t believe this right now,” another said. “You were such an incredibly dear person. RIP.”
Somebody else penned: “Oh man, Vito, rest in peace.”
Earlier this year, Pirbazari underwent surgery after tearing his right pectoral muscle, and he shared his recovery journey with his 90,700 Instagram followers.
However, he faced another major setback when he survived a near-fatal car accident, which left him with a fractured vertebra, tissue damage, and severe leg injuries that required stitches.
Following a 12-week break from training, Pirbazari returned to the gym on March 23.
On March 30, just one day before his untimely death, he posted a selfie reflecting on his physical condition post-recovery.
Pirbazari wrote: “My current form after 12 weeks without exercise or much exercise. Of course, it’s no comparison to before, but I’m on the right track, given the circumstances.”
He also emphasized his determination: “The only thing that’s important to me right now is not to give up and to let go, and to get better day by day, week by week.”
The actor had been working on regaining his fitness after his accident, mentioning in a recent post that he was prioritizing leg training and cardio.
He noted that he was taking things slowly due to his injuries but was optimistic about rebuilding his strength.
Although Ibrahim suggested that Pirbazari may have suffered a heart attack during his workout, official confirmation is still pending.
The exact cause of his sudden passing remains uncertain, as German authorities have not yet provided official details regarding the incident.
Pirbazari is survived by his girlfriend and young son, born in 2020.
