So who is she?
The woman at the center of the internet’s current fascination is Luisa Laemmel — a 28-year-old Swiss model born and raised in Zurich, who launched her career aged 16 through the Elite Model Look international contest, per InStyle.
She subsequently pursued an academic path alongside her modeling work, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from a university in England, before relocating to New York City in 2019.
Since then, she has built an impressive portfolio — becoming the face of beauty campaigns for L’Oreal, YSL Beauty, and Maybelline, and appearing in editorial shoots for publications including L’Officiel and Cosmopolitan.
She also models for Calvin Klein. She is, by any measure, a serious professional in her own right.
She is also 21 years younger than Bloom — a gap that has prompted the bulk of the online reaction, and which places this relationship squarely in the tradition of Hollywood age gap debates that have followed everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio to Bradley Cooper in recent years.
