Kristina Belaya Has Died Aged 24
Influencer and reality star Kristina Belaya died at home at just 24 years old.
Belaya rose to fame after she appeared on a Russian dating reality series called Dom-2.
She quit the TV show citing family reasons, but later revealed she had met someone outside of the series.
Despite leaving the show, her star continued to rise as fans followed her on social media to see what she was up to.
The influencer frequently shared fashion and lifestyle content and accumulated thousands of social media followers.
Tragically, Belaya was found dead at home in the town of Kartaly, Russia.
Reports are quoted as saying Belaya only returned to Kartaly in the days before her death.
Fans have been sharing their grief and paying tribute to the star on her social media posts.
One wrote: “I refuse to believe this, I’m tearing up inside please no…”
Another added: “Life is such a fragile thing, today you’re here, tomorrow you’re gone. I feel so sorry for the girl. I feel sorry for the young.”
A third fan replied: “She was great, sleep in peace, you became like a family to all of us.”
A friend of Belayas shared a statement with the Russian outlet Argumenty i Fakty, saying: “Kristina was a very warm, radiant person, she never sat still, always came to the rescue in difficult times, she was a very cheerful girl, a good friend and daughter, we will all miss her very much.”
According to The Sun, Belaya was found with a head injury and had sustained bruising on her body.
It has been reported that she is believed to have slipped and fallen in her bathroom at home.
She had been taking a bath, and is believed to have slipped, fallen and died as she was getting out of the tub on May 30.
Officials have said there was no sign of a struggle and her injuries were consistent with that of a fall.
Belaya’s boyfriend found her lying unconscious in the bathroom.
It is said that the bath partially collapsed as she was getting out of it.
An investigation into her death is continuing, and is being led by the Investigative Department of the city of Kartaly.
Any criminal motive is not being considered.
Local press has reported Belaya’s cause of death as a cerebral haemorrhage.
The influencer’s family has circulated a message on social networks asking people not to comment on her death.
