Diddy Rushed To Hospital
Hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has reportedly been transported from a federal detention center in Brooklyn to a nearby hospital.
Combs, 55, was indicted in September and pleaded not guilty to charges of s** trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in pr**titution.
He was arrested in New York City on September 16 and has been detained since.
At least 40 plaintiffs have sued Combs over allegations of s**ual assault or other s**ual misconduct in the past 16 months.
Combs’ legal team has vehemently denied the claims against him.
A statement to The Independent reads: “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never s**ually assaulted or s** trafficked anyone – man or woman, adult or minor.
“We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”
The first key development in the allegations against Combs began in November 2023, when his ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, filed a lawsuit under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, alleging that Combs trafficked, r**ed, and physically abused her for over a decade.
The lawsuit was settled the next day, with terms remaining confidential.
More legal troubles followed in February 2024 when music producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones accused Combs of pressuring him into encounters with s** workers, witnessing drugged drinks at parties, and experiencing unwanted advances from Combs himself.
In March 2024, federal agents raided Combs’ Miami and Los Angeles homes as part of a trafficking investigation.
By September 2024, singer Dawn Richard filed a lawsuit alleging years of abuse from Combs.
Days later, on September 16, 2024, Combs was arrested in New York following a grand jury indictment, with federal prosecutors requesting the unsealing of the indictment the following day.
His attorney has maintained that he is an ‘imperfect person’ but not a criminal.
And now, it’s been confirmed that Combs has been rushed to hospital.
According to the New York Post, Combs was taken to hospital from a federal lockup in Brooklyn while under the cover of darkness.
He was reportedly transported at around 10 p.m. on Thursday to undergo an MRI.
A source told Page Six the medical scan was authorized as his ‘knee was bothering him.’
The insider added that the hospital visit was done at night to try and avoid speculation from other inmates or police staffers.
A spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons told the New York Post: “For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for anyone in our custody, including medical status or medical trips.”
Law enforcement sources acknowledged they were informed of the medical transport in advance, as a precautionary measure, in case any information about the transfer leaked and caused disturbances.
The New York Post reports Combs did not stay at the hospital overnight and was promptly returned to his cell following the completion of the MRI.
Combs’ legal team and representatives have not provided official statements regarding the hospital visit.
