Taylor Swift Fans Are Just Learning The Singer’s Younger Brother Is A Huge Hollywood Actor
Some of Taylor Swift’s fans are only just learning that her younger brother is a huge Hollywood actor.
Until now, many Swifties were under the impression they knew everything about the singer.
After discovering her sibling is also a famous star, people have taken to social media and reacted, with one fan asking: “Why do we never hear about him!”
Another adds: “She has a brother?!”
“I didn’t know she had a brother,” somebody else says.
Swift is one of the world’s best-selling music artists of all time and has been listed as among history’s greatest artists by publications such as Rolling Stones, Billboard, and Forbes.
The ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ singer’s recent Eras Tour has been the highest grossing of all time, surpassing $1 billion in revenue.
Even with Swift’s success and fame, the artist’s family remains close-knit.
Since the beginning of the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer’s career, her loved ones have been incredibly supportive.
Her parents, Scott and Andrea, listened to her sing karaoke and drove to her local gigs in their hometown of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.
Not only did Swift have the support of her parents but her sibling too.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, he said: “She found singing, and I knew from very early on that that was her direction.
“She was never going to quit; that was her thing, that was her life.”
Swift and her younger brother are also a supportive sibling duo and often take to Instagram to praise each other’s achievements.
For the singer’s 29th birthday, he penned: “I have always had a best friend, a role model, and a caring, tireless, dedicated champion in my corner. You have pulled me out of fires and carried me up mountains.
“The gift of getting to witness you become the wonderful person you are today has been the greatest privilege and honor of my life.”
Like Swift, her brother has a strong work ethic – you may recognize him from his work on the big screen.
Austin Swift, 32, graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2015, studying film and acting.
He told People magazine: “I’m pretty reserved in most circumstances, so [acting] never seemed like it would be a good fit.
“But I kind of got thrust into it and realized that it could be an opportunity to be creative.”
After graduating, Austin began interning at Lionsgate where he would make and send out DVD screeners.
His film debut was in the 2016 psychological thriller I.T., starring alongside Pierce Brosnan, Michael Nyqvist, and Karen Moskow.
He’s since starred in numerous film and TV shows, including Still the King, Braking for Whales, and We Summon the Darkness.
Austin has also worked alongside his sister, appearing and producing in several of her music videos, while also managing elements of her music licensing for the multimedia.
