Travis Kelce’s Ex-Girlfriend Issues Stark Warning To Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce’s former girlfriend has issued a scathing message for Taylor Swift following their engagement, and let’s just say she’s not holding anything back.
A-list couple Taylor and Travis sent the internet into meltdown after revealing their engagement, with the NFL superstar officially getting down on one knee to ask the life-changing question in August 2025.
The Cruel Summer hitmaker shared the exciting update with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
The famous couple have been linked since July 2023, after romance rumors first sparked while Taylor was still dominating headlines with her record-breaking Eras Tour.
Despite their love story seemingly to go from 0 to 100, it turns out Travis had been pursuing the pop star for a long time for finding success, having tried on multiple occasions to give his phone number to her, before finally passing on his digits during one of her shows in Kansas City.
Travis later shared the story on his podcast, revealing the pair had started spending time together shortly afterwards. The pair sent fans into a frenzy when Taylor was spotted attending one of Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs games alongside his mom.
From there, their romance quickly became one of the most talked-about celebrity relationships in the world, with the couple regularly supporting each other at concerts, football games, and major public events.
Swifties celebrate the huge engagement news
Following the announcement of their engagement, fans quickly noticed a fun surprise online, searching either of the stars’ names on Google triggered a shower of celebratory confetti.
For Swifties, it was a moment worth celebrating worldwide.
Social media instantly erupted with messages congratulating the superstar pair, and fans were particularly enthused when they first saw the rock.. we mean ring, Travis had bought for his future wife.
“Oh that ring is HUGE,” one fan commented, while another added: “The way that ring could buy my entire life…”
A third simply put: “Now that really is a rock.”
However, not everyone was quite as thrilled about the soon-to-be star-studded marriage, with one person close to Travis sharing some rather harsh words.
One ex had kind words to say about Travis and Taylor
Fortunately it’s not all bad, as one of Travis’ exes has spoken rather favorably when asked what dating the athlete was really like.
YouTuber Kayla Nicole was in a relationship with the football star for five years before they eventually split in 2022.
The pair were even engaged at one point, although Nicole has spoken far more positively about the relationship since their breakup.
During an Instagram Q&A, Nicole wrote: “People are sometimes only meant to be part of your life for a season.
“Give yourself time and permission to grieve because losing a bond can be heartbreaking.”
In a separate interview with People magazine, Nicole explained that she now chooses to “protect herself.”
The influencer said: “Publicly, because things are happening so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That’s really all that is. The love is still there.”
Travis Kelce’s ex Maya Benberry issues scathing comment
However, another one of his former flames has been less than complimentary, and even issued a rather scathing warning to Taylor following the news of their engagement.
Speaking with the Daily Mail, Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Maya Benberry had plenty to say about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, and none of it was flattering.
The pair famously met in 2016, on the reality TV show Catching Kelce, in which 50 women from 50 states battled it out for the football player’s heart. He has since described the show as the ‘worst thing he ever did.’
Unfortunately, Maya doesn’t appear to be much of a fan of Travis. In fact, she even went as far as branding the NFL star a ‘cheating narcissist’ and insisted he would never truly ‘change.’
Turning her attention directly to Swift, she warned: “Only time will tell, but like the saying always goes, once a cheater, always a cheater.
“Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn’t be a girls’ girl if I didn’t advise her to be smart!”
