Paul Danan’s Cause Of Death Confirmed
TV star Paul Danan’s cause of death has been confirmed.
Danan was most recognizable for starring in the British soap opera Hollyoaks.
He rose to fame for playing Sol Patrick in the popular show, where his character soon became a fan favorite.
The 46-year-old remained on the series from 1997 to 2001. After he departed from Hollyoaks, he broke into the world of reality TV.
Danan went on to appear on the celebrity versions of Love Island, a British dating show where stars are flown to Fiji to compete for romance and popularity. He also starred in the celebrity version of Big Brother.

Tragically, Danan was found dead in his home in Brislington, Bristol, on January 15.
The actor was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services, his body was identified at the house by his partner Melissa Crooks.
Danan had previously been open about his relationship with substance abuse, which he had said started during his teenage years.
According to The Guardian, the actor claimed to have spent around £1 million on rehab.
The actor reportedly relapsed during Covid. According to the Mirror, he went to rehab 17 times during his life.

In 2019, he shared on the talk show The Jeremy Kyle Show that he had to ‘work hard at it every day to keep in recovery.’
The actor also used his platform to spread awareness surrounding drug abuse and recovery.
Danan had been set to appear in court for a plea hearing on January 16 after being charged with possession of coc**ne and cannabis.
Last October, the Hollyoaks star had been accused of driving while under the influence of drugs.

An inquest opening has revealed an insight into the actor’s death.
The inquest was opened and adjured at Avon Coroner’s Court, with senior corner Maria Voisin setting a provisional date of May 28 for the actor’s full inquest hearing.
Coroner’s officer Alexis Camp confirmed to the hearing that Danan was pronounced dead at his home in Brislington, Bristol, at 5.20 p.m. on January 15.
Camp also said: “The circumstances are that Mr. Danan was found unresponsive at his home address.
“Emergency services attended and confirmed he had sadly died. A post-mortem has taken place and samples have been removed for further analysis.”

The court was also told of a provisional cause of death for the actor, which was a combination of the toxicity of her***, methadone, codeine, pregabalin, coc**ne, and zopiclone, contributed to by benzodiazepine use.
Ms Camp said: “I understand there are no family concerns,” adding that ‘no note was left’ by the celebrity.
Statements will be taken from Danan’s GP, family, police, and the ambulance service and inquiries continue with Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.
