YouTube Star Found Dead In Mailroom Aged 26
A popular YouTube star has tragically been found dead in a mailroom at age 26.
P2istheName, born Philip Enewally, was known for his video game walkthrough clips.
He played titles such as Fortnite and the NBA 2K series, with his last YouTube video being shared about three weeks ago.
The content creator had also found success outside of social media with his clothing brand, DontMindUs. Several videos showed him personally packaging and shipping out to fans.
Recently, fans learned that Enewally was planning on leaving his native Los Angeles for Atlanta.
Now, his followers are taking to social media and paying tribute following the upsetting news of his passing.
A fellow YouTuber, COLETHEMAN, took to social media and shared his grief.
“I’m honestly at a loss for words,” he commented via X, formerly Twitter. “He was always so kind to me and gave me so much content creation advice.”
Taking to Enewally’s socials, a fan wrote: “Rest easy man. Gone but will never be forgotten.”
Another said: “Thank you for the childhood memories, been watching you since 2018. You really had a huge impact on our lives. We gonna miss you Phil, RIP.”
“Rest in peace, much love to his family and his friends,” wrote a third follower. “This hurts man, this guy made my childhood.”
Somebody else penned: “Thank you for being a part of my childhood, I always looked forward to ya vids after school.”
According to the Los Angeles County Coroner, as per TMZ, Enewally was found dead on March 14 in a mailroom.
TMZ spoke with a family member, who directed fans to mourn the YouTuber on his channel.
Another update from the outlet claims investigators are puzzled by Enewally’s death, however, they do not suspect foul play.
It’s believed the 26-year-old collapsed on the ground in front of mailboxes at his LA apartment building on the afternoon of March 14.
The YouTuber was reportedly discovered by the property manager, leading police and paramedics to respond.
TMZ was told there were no immediate signs of drugs or alcohol and as of now, Enewally’s death is being treated as from natural causes.
A source tells the outlet the LA County Coroner has conducted an autopsy and is awaiting toxicology results.
