Cher has clapped back at the ‘haters’ of her 40-year age gap relationship with her new boyfriend.
The 76-year-old has recently confirmed her relationship with 36-year-old music producer Alexander Edwards.
The pair were spotted holding hands at celebrity favourite restaurant Craig’s, where they were joined by rapper and Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend Tyga.

After reports had come out that the pair had spent time together at Cher’s malibu mansion, she took to Twitter to clarify the news.
She posted a picture of Edwards with the caption ‘Alexander’ and a heart emoji.
Then one fan expressed their concern by replying: “I’m not sure how I feel about this.

“I’ve been a fan for so long that I’m immediately suspicious of his intentions towards you.
“WE know you are fabulous and I’m sure your inner circle will continue to have your back. Want you to be happy, but not taken advantage of!!!”
Cher then responded to this person by commenting: “As we All Know …I WASN’T BORN YESTERDAY and What I Know For Sure…There Are No Guarantees.
“Anytime you make a Choice You Take a Chance. I’ve Always Taken Chances…It’s WHO I Am.”
The ‘After All’ singer also took some time to reply to other fans, with one asking if he was her new man, to which she answered back with a heart face emoji.
Then when someone commented ‘he better be treating you like a queen’ Cher responded with ‘like a [crown emoji]’.

She then added in a separate post: “I’m not defending us. Haters are gonna hate…Doesn’t matter. That we’re happy and not bothering anyone.”
“LOVE DOESN’T KNOW MATH, IT SEES,” she wrote about their connection in a since-deleted tweet.
According to Metro, the pair got to know each other in September after they were spotted sitting side-by-side at the Rick Owens SS 2023 Paris Fashion Week show.

Cher even made a surprise cameo during fashion week, where she closed out the Balmain runway.
Fans of Cher have been showing their support for the ‘Believe’ singer and her new relationship.
One person commented: “A very beautiful and suitable pair.”
“Age is nothing but a number live life and enjoy and be happy,” added another fan.

A third person commented a supportive message: “Age is just a number!! If he treats you right, makes you feel good and brings you happiness then enjoy the ride!
“You only live once so live like there’s no tomorrow and love deep while you can!”
Edwards is the ex of Amber Rose, 39, and they share a three-year-old son, Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, together.
The model had previously accused the producer of being unfaithful to her with 12 different people.
Edwards later admitted that this was true.

Meanwhile, Cher has been married twice before.
She married Sonny Bono in 1964, but they divorced in 1975 and they share a son together Chaz Bono.
She then married singer Gregg Allman in 1975 and they separated in 1979.
They had a child together named Elijah Blue Allman.
