A plane carrying 132 passengers has ‘crashed’ in southern China, according to state-owned media.

China Central Television reports that the China Eastern Airlines flight suffered an ‘accident’ near Wuzhou, in Guangxi province. It was reportedly travelling from Kunming, Yunnan province in Western China, to Guangzhou, Guandong province.

FATII Aviation, an air traffic account from the country, confirmed that the Boeing 737 went down in a tweet, adding it was ‘unknown’ how many casualties there were.
