Chris Pratt’s wife and mother-in-law have responded to his sickening Met Gala joke.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star, 43, has starred in some of the biggest blockbusters of the last 10 years – such as the Jurrasic World franchise, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
He married Katherine Schwarzenegger – the daughter of legendary action star Arnold Schwarzenegger – in 2019.
Fans often see the couple interact on social media, but with Pratt’s latest post, his wife didn’t have the most positive reaction.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie star uploaded a close-up photo of his foot – in particular his damaged toenail – on his Instagram page.
He jokes in the caption: “Met Gala look.”
Pratt’s post has certainly garnered a reaction as it received over 10,000 comments.
Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn says: “Lil Nas X wore it better.”
Someone else writes: “Chris Pratt’s toenail was not what I expected to see when opening Insta, but I sure can’t unsee it.”

Another person jokes: “Respect. Real. Not covered in diamonds or pretend to be a cat. Respect.”
“Tell us you don’t like the Met Gala without telling us you don’t like the Met Gala,” remarks a fourth.
Someone else comments: “Thank you for restoring my faith in humanity. I swear if I see one more ridiculous Met Gala post I will delete all social media. The toe is the best look yet!!”
Pratt’s wife even joined in on the comments of the post, writing: “LITERALLY called 911-foot nanny and have temporarily muted this account for the sake of my well-being.”
While his mother-in-law Maria Shriver adds: “What is this?”
Following his post, Pratt uploaded a series of Instagram stories in which he photoshopped his toe on celebrities attending the Gala.
The Lego Movie actor started by sharing his toe picture and captioned it ‘Christoepher Pratt’.
He then shared a photo of Doja Cat, but instead, he called her ‘Toeja Cat’ after editing his toe on her face.
Pratt uploaded similarly edited pictures of other celebrities such as ‘Jared Latoe’ and ‘Toe Lipa’.
The Met Gala is known for its red carpet snaps where celebrities tend to go all out in their outfits.

The theme of this year’s show was ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’ – in honour of the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
He passed away in 2019 and many A-listers found unique ways to pay tribute to him at the event.
Jared Leto wore a giant cat outfit – in honour of the fashion designer’s iconic pet cat Choupette.
While Doja Cat’s makeup actually made her look like a cat.
