A couple with a 35-year age gap has opened up about the reactions of their families.
Britnye, 22, and James, 57, run a TikTok page with the username @agegap50 and on the account, they discuss their unusual love story.
In one video, the woman asked her older boyfriend what his daughters think about their relationship.

James replied: “Well, two of them are OK. One of them is sitting on the fence and the other one would like to murder you with a pitchfork.”
In another clip, James asks Britnye how her mother reacted to them being a couple, to which she responded: “Well, she’s coming over to live with us for a week so we’re going to find out.”

However, the woman went on to clarify that her family are fine with the relationship and may actually appear in their social media content soon.
Although the pair have reassured their followers that everyone is OK with them being coupled up, many have taken to the comments and said they’re not sure about it.
One viewer wrote: “Hopefully, she does not just want his money.”
“She’s after his money, nothing else,” a second insisted.
However, the majority of the comments are super positive and many have wished Britnye and James luck.

“I love this relationship,” a follower gushed.
Another added: “Good on you guys, lots of love to you!”
“As long as y’all are happy and love each other it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks,” a third penned.
