Daniel Craig has revealed that he prefers going out to gay bars so that he can avoid ‘the aggressive d*** swinging in hetero bars’.
The James Bond actor made the comments on the Lunch with Bruce podcast on SiriusXM.
He explained: “I’ve been going to gay bars for as long as I can remember.

“One of the reasons: because I don’t get into fights in gay bars that often.”
The 53-year-old revealed he started going to gay bars when he was younger because he wanted to avoid getting in a ‘punch-up’.
He continued: “As a kid because it was like… ‘I don’t want to end up eating in a punch-up.’. And I did. That would happen quite a lot. And it [a gay bar] would just be a good place to go.”
He went on to describe gay bars as a ‘very safe place to be’.
He said: “Everybody was chill, everybody. You didn’t really have to sort of state your sexuality. It was okay. And it was a very safe place to be. And I could meet girls there, cause there are a lot of girls there for exactly the same reason I was there.
“It was kind of an ulterior motive.”
Fans have been reacting to his comments on Twitter, with one person writing:” Agree with that. I met my husband in a gay bar. The atmosphere is just so chilled, no one is eyeballing you with ‘WTF are you staring at’ or ‘Why are you looking at my girl/boyfriend?!’.”
Another added: “Finally, I have something in common with Daniel Craig.”
However, not everybody was happy about his admission, as they said they don’t think it’s right for heterosexual men to be attempting to meet women in queer spaces.
One person wrote: “Oh seeing Daniel Craig [be a tourist] in a gay bar to pick up women is disappointing. If there are no safe places to go for the hets, create them!”
Another added: “Come on. If you are Daniel f*****g Craig, every place is a good place to meet women.”
