Daniel Kaluuya is set to reunite with Get Out director Jordan Peele on a top-secret new movie.
Specific details are being kept under wraps but we know Peele has written the script and is directing and producing it, alongside Ian Cooper.
We also know it’s scheduled for a July 2022 release!
Jesse Plemons has signed up along with American actress and singer Keke Palmer.
Although Palmer has starred in her fair share of movies over the years, from Hustlers to Imperial Dreams, this will be the first time she has taken on the role of the female lead.
Daniel Kaluuya got his ‘big break’ when he was cast as the male lead in Get Out back in 2017.
Anybody who has seen the horror/thriller will know that when Kaluuya and Peele join forces, incredible things happen, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.
Not only was the 2017 movie a blockbuster hit, but it elevated Kaluuya to international stardom.
His performance received critical acclaim, resulting in him being nominated for an Academy Award, and he went on to star in Marvel’s Black Panther and, most recently, Judas and the Black Messiah.
When asked how he feels about his crazy success, he told The Hollywood Reporter: “It’s kind of an out-of-body experience because the reason why I do the films is because I believe in them, and I want to watch them, and I’m blessed to be given an opportunity to able to be in them.”
