Demi Lovato, who identifies as non-binary, has debuted a new buzzcut on social media, as they plan a ‘fresh start’ for the New Year.
The pop star took to Instagram on Christmas Day and showed off their bold new look, alongside the caption: “Shot on FaceTime by @angelokritikos. #freshstart.”
The post has since been viewed over 2million times and thousands of Lovato’s fans have taken to the comments and gushed over their appearance.

One follower said: “I’m so here for this bald era.”
In agreement, another added: “You look beautiful as always Demi.”
“The best Christmas present ever,” a third commented. “You’re so hot, oh my f***ing God. When I saw this style, I started f***ing screaming and yelling: ‘Yess, they’re back and they look so hot!’.”
A fourth pitched in, writing: “There they are in all their fierceness!”

The 29-year-old’s transformation comes after the Camp Rock star has previously said they made the right decision calling off their engagement to Max Ehrich in 2020.
In an interview during the 19th Represents 2021 Virtual Summit, Lovato told Kate Sosin: “When I said goodbye to that relationship.
“I also said goodbye to everything that was holding me back from being my most authentic self.”
They added: “It was the dissolvement of all things that had held me back from identifying as the person I do today.”
Since coming out as non-binary and pansexual, Lovato has been more open than ever with their fans.
Most recently, they revealed that they would ‘absolutely’ date an alien.
In a Facebook series, they commented: “I am so tired of humans and their human bulls***! I am so over it! Bring me an alien!”
